I’ve said for a while now that it was only a matter of time before Oda ruined Akainu like he ruined the rest of OP lol

I don’t necessarily think this is an L for Akainu but I don’t feel like arguing against it lol

I just read the OP - it’s dumb. The marines were just attacked in Mary Geose by the revolutionary army and had formal war declared on them and now also have to mop up the Shichibukai. There’s a lot to handle and I think it’s evident most Va cannot do these jobs, they require an Admirals strength.


Deciding to not only go to Kaido’s home base of 20 years with a fraction of your power during this turmoil would be utterly retarded. It’s what WB essentially did for Ace, and that got them killed.

Them not attacking the alliance does make sense BUT I do not see the urgency to capture the former warlords.
Like outlawing them is all dandy but why do they have to be captured immediately?
Considering the RA's ambush and the newly founded emperor alliance, it does seem like a waste of resources.

Well , yes i think the 4 former Warlords should not have been hunted , among them the only one causing harm is Weevil ( Kizaru said everywhere he goes the civilians damage is tremendous )

So Weevil is the only one that should've been hunted , Mihawk is just chilling in his castle , Hancock is just doing Empress things in her island , and Buggy ... i don't think he caused much harm if he did
