No Yonkou leaves their territory over stupid vendettas, they risk their whole empire being destroyed if they make a large move somewhere else.
Oden was on par with wb and roger if you look at all relevant portrayal, what kaido thinks about him, what wb thinks, what oden himself thought about if he couldn't stop kaido then no one could.
This is anime only but wasn't Oden paired up against scopper? , it's just ironic that this would make sense if the giants are right.
I wouldn't be mad if scopper was in the same league as them too, but this is also upsetting since it's further affirmation that Oda is gonna somehow make sanji scale with zoro and luffy through eos. Even if Sanji was on prime rays/rogers level for example, luffy and zoro by eos should have essentially surpassed anyone to exist, so you would think there would still be a margin between them and sanji.
But if Oda is really going this route of gold/silver/copper all being relative and imposing that on Luffy Zoro Sanji, then it's just forced but it is what it is.
Then again this is the giants perspective, they could just see that scopper is really strong, and so believe everything he says, and scopper could have boasted that he was equal to roger and rayleigh.
Just like Sanji might claim to be as strong and luffy and zoro. Or if barto said something like "that's sanji the left hand of strawhat and equal to him and zoro" even if that's not true.
Lets just say Scopper is as strong and Roger and Ray, I always thought Roger and Ray were relative, I said if Ray really wanted he could have competed for the one piece against Roger and form his own crew, but chose to follow Roger instead. Scopper shouldn't be too far behind if at all. And they can all have different strengths and weaknesses.
E.G Roger has the strongest haki out of them, Rayleigh is the most proficient weapon user/skilled, and Scopper could have more raw strength than both of them. All better at different things than each other.
Like how Luffy/Zoro and Sanji have different strengths. Sanji's base observation is better than Luffys, Luffy said he had more to learn when he couldn't sense what Sanji could in Wano. Zoro can have better armament, and Luffy the best CoC.
