As usual people taking comments too literally. If Roger and Gaban fight, Roger will beat him 10 out of 10 times. And Ray will beat him like 9 out of 10 times.

That's common sense.
They are comparable but obviously 1° is stronger than 2° who is stronger than 3°.
We were saying this for years, but no, Sword boys wanted their Zoro >= Luffy or at least Luffy = Zoro and Zoro >>>>>>>> Sanji
:kayneshrug::sanmoji:
My stance was always that the gap between luffy and zoro equaled the gap between zoro and sanji.

They literally speak to the man and understand his psyche. If they say something chances are is congruent with Oda.

Huge example being Law vs BB got a “titans clash!” And lo and behold Law and BB clashed the next chapter. Kid got a “brave warriors face!” Which is way different than law and got stomped.
I'm at a loss for words that someone would take the editor hype notes of any manga to make any point about the canonicity of anything, much less for a power scaling argument.

They're literally empty hype.

Shanks is stronger than BM, so he beats Kid a lot easier than she does? How is this hard to understand?

and what does this have to do with Law vs BB?
Maybe read the comment again and try to understand it instead of asking me to repeat it.

In the context of "Oda doesn't care about your opinion of Wano", it was an example of how much Oda cared about the opinion of Kid fans who talked like you do. They thought Kid could do anything against Shanks and they were put in their place. That's Oda's opinion on the duo's performance vs Big Mom.

Shanks is stronger than Big Mom, but not that much stronger. Big Mom went from "I one shot people with aCoC punches" to never trying to hit Kid or Law once with aCoC, it was pure PIS fight, and BOTH Kid and Law still came extremely short of being on her level. Neither of them would have pushed her 1 vs 1.

Ace, WB, Sengoku, Garp and Law

pretty good company to be in
And Gear 2 pre-Marineford Luffy.

Since already user already reminded you of that fight and now you're pretending it didn't happen, I know you are being willingly disingenuous, which makes this whole conversation pointless.

Thank god, that probably means you're also being disingenuous when you use editor comments to make a point.

Ah, and one last thing.
Shanks is in his final form, Blackbeard like Luffy isn’t. That’s easy to understand.
Thank you with agreeing with my original post:
This downplays Blackbeard and his crew of scrubs more than it hypes up Law.

why do you think oda offscreened it?

if Law was supposed to be one shot, oda woulda just done Shank vs Midd 2.0

But he has to use BB offscreen haki to defeat Law

i'd even say BB used his secret 3rd df to defeat Law

High diff fight
Zoro using his three swords doesn't make a fight a high diff.

I never said anyone was one shot.

Teach beat Law with his most basic techniques

it wasn’t a one shot. But the only things we saw him use were black hole and basic gura punches.

Bb literally tried to jump Law from the high ground and Law switched that on him lmao

We didn’t get another hit because Oda decided to cut the fight right after you absolute moron :suresure:
No we didn't get because Law wasn't gonna be allowed to get a hit on while BB was on the ground. Oda couldn't even give him a hit face to face, he didn't even do Kidd that badly against Big Mom.

Yes, cheapshot, literally made the most out of when BB was on air and got one attack in. Why didn't Oda give him another attack when BB was on the ground?
Why did Oda make BB and his crew get smacked around by Bepo and let Bepo escape in base form after he easily defeat Law
