Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
Fool summary soon

Excited to see how Oda explains this one lol

If it’s power it doesn’t make sense (I’m a big Sanji fan but come on lol)

If it’s prestige/notoriety then I feel like it also doesn’t add up… Roger’s the Pirate King. I don’t even agree with Rayleigh being on his level in terms of notoriety and Rayleigh should have a leg up on Gaban

I think it’s kinda set in stone that Gaban will be incredibly strong. Oda’s not gonna let an old legend go out sad in their first showing and we know that he’s fully willing to embarrass Luffy but damn

3-4 top tiers on one crew means Roger shouldn’t have had any problems with anything lmao
It can't be just status/prestige - because this case doesn't warrant

1)use of word "equal"

2) Specifically mentioning Ray and Roger.

Oda could have simply said "legendary star" of Roger pirates to express notoriety or prestige.

So, I do believe that Oda was hyping Gaban on par with Roger and Ray if he really used the word "equal" here.

However, in all honesty, equal here doesn't mean all 3 are 100.

It would be more like 100/95/90 so equal means - in the same spectrum and closer but not equal per se

It’s probably just saying he’s on the same level as Roger. That’s just odas personality when it comes to saying power levels “tell don’t show.”
Still doesn’t add up to me

Tbh Rayleigh being as strong as he is already breaks the narrative as much as I like him

The Edd War regardless of the numbers should’ve been trivial for Roger, Whitebeard Pirates vs Roger Pirates should be low diff, Garp and random marines cornering Roger and his crew should be impossible (though we’re probably gonna find out Bogard is a top tier too randomly), BM shouldn’t even be someone that Roger’s worried about, etc

And that’s just off Rayleigh being a top tier in relatively close proximity to Roger. You throw in Gaban and it makes even less sense lol

Sometimes I wonder how many readers would believe Don Krieg to be the strongest just cause he said so if he was introduced today.
An east Blue villian fodder calling himself the strongest after losing to Mihawk and the Left Hand of the Pirate King being called a Legendary star equal to Roger and Rayleigh by the Warriors of the strongest Nation in the world. Great comparison.

Yeah but even if Roger’s 100, Rayleigh’s 95, and Gaban’s 90 that makes all 3 of them top tiers

A crew with 3 top tiers (4 with Oden onboard but he was a temporary member) should trivialize all conflict in the One Piece world

Rayleigh on Roger’s crew already kinda breaks everything

Using something as a source to learn an epithet and using something as a sword to make power level statements is not the same.

Again, I argued against using Sword God as a power level point.
ok if you say so. Appreantly:
a literal dog is a trust worthy force how and why is someone called living centurys ago that he never evernseen
vs
giants that are pirates in the oldest pirate crew that live with the guy +10 years on the same island as the guy they talking about
Like i said believe what you want :BigW:
