"Mihawk is the strongest swordsman? Weeeell, Don Krieg stated he's the strongest man! Now what, huh?!" is the same kind of brainrot.
Gaban is no fraud who'd benefit from such a reputation, he's actually the number 3 of the Roger pirates. He's comparable to Roger and Rayleigh.

If the crayon eaters are already freaking out about that, maybe they should wait till it's shown how today's admirals are also easily comparable to old legends like Garp and Sengoku... I think some people would legit quit over it.
