Even after Whitebeard died, Kaido was a sitting duck while Bm/Blackbeard pirates claimed new territories. New Yonko like Shanks and Blackbeard were able to gain territories without every worrying about Kaido ever. When we consider the fact that Kaido didn't even ask Oden about the One Piece, its clear what happened. He retired from piracy to sell seastones to the WG.

This also applies to Luffy and Zoro though. Luffy fans can write essays about all of his feats and major fights and power-ups until the end of time to get hit in the face with this panel. And that's all I care about lmao

To a far lesser extent though because Luffy will always fight opponents of a much higher class than Zoro and Sanji. So it will be hard for people years down the line to take this as seriously. Z and S major opponents against a common group, will always be grouped together. It's the combo of that along with this statement which can carry Sanjibros till the end of time.

They can sit pretty, enjoy whatever they want, its like they have immunity to damage now for real. It doesn't even matter how badly Oda clowns Sanji as long as this exists. I still can't believe it.
