This type of division tactic is a bigger version of the way division worked against steel workers in the US throughout the class and race line to keep them from unionizing a stronger front.

Democrats should run an authoritarian in 2028

Trump’s reelection has shown that this is the direction America is headed in, like it or not. The American people are willing to tolerate authoritarianism.

The democrats need to make a choice. Either do nothing for 4 years and have a right wing authoritarian undo your progress and make things worse, or run a left wing authoritarian.

If America is going to fall into authoritarianism, at the very least I don’t want the dictator to be owned by the billionaire class.

Bro, most of Europe has gone left decades ago. The way they treated their citizens during the covid days and the migrant crisis makes it pretty clear that Europe governments are quite a bit authoritarian these days.
