Both were two of Oda's dump writing greatest victims. Big Mom in terms of how insanely portrayed and handicaped and nerfed in battle while Kaido suffered more in terms of his character's writing and stuff outside of battle, even if he was handicaped as well to a lesser extent.

It just shows how rushed the plot became with the timeskip (despite how freaking slow and poorly paced this crap has been going). LOda has to come up with the most poorly written and convoluted reasons to make toptiers absolutely retarded or nerfed by another opponent (*cough*Law*cough*) so that Luffy has a chance at beating their asses. He then sprinkles some faux tragedy and an island princess on every damn plot.

Arc is confusing lol. Shamrock is now leaving before Luffy can even encounter him. No idea where this arc is going now

Shamrock was called back for some reason (there may be something important going on in Mariejois at the moment) so now the fight between him and Loki, Luffy, or Zoro has been postponed till near EOS

2 God’s Knights came giving us 3 in total which isn’t nearly enough to go around

Luffy and a few of the stronger giants could probably take them out

If so, will the arc have no major enemy? Will Loki actually be an antagonist? Not sure anymore
