Holy shit, rip those kids. This is amazing, if the ending is good this is probably the birth of a new masterpiece. Far beyond the current stuff we're reading, yes even one piece. :doffycry:

What i get from these latest chapters, is a big lesson for Eichiro Oda. That a hype, must be fulfilled by a pay-off. Attack on Titan create a hype, and follow it with such satisfactory display of power and emotion as a pay-off. The hype only happens every once in a while, but the author always makes sure that he pays each one with fair and actual plot point, or plot twist, or emotional or power portrayal or feat. This is a sign of a brave author not wanting to please everybody but instead sticking to his own path.

Sad chapter , it looks like all hopelessness you can feel in eren on humanity . I think he made decent choice with rumbling ? I mean what was the cost either destruction of his country or fight the world to save his clanman .

I really hope there is a chance Ymir is manipulating Eren , its sad but all the complaints i had about eren acting like pussy , author made brave decision with him going for Eren instead of zeke as final villain of the story .

I do see rest of the world will forgive eldian if mikasa or armin takes him down which will likely happen . Mikasa killing Eren looks very high right now with possible death flag of Armin /annie interaction .

I think both are different authors , oda limits to audience friendly manga but snk is more gore themed .

I would say oda is more into adventures and world building than power portrayals and people interaction .

I agree with you about Oda's specialty being adventures and world building, its just that Oda hypes powerlevels yoo often without proper execution. I hope oda reduce that desire to hype everyone. Just hype the most worthy so that he can pay it like Eren flexing his powers makes the whole world living in fear. That kind of payment.

I agree on that one especially oda likes to offpanels fight .

I mean anything not related to straw hats goes to offpanel fights

I think snk is probably good in what readers desiredlike pov on both sides. The bad guys in snk are actually people with their own motives and flaw.

Its moral grey line if ever watched breaking bad the screenplay focus more on pov of the character thats a great way to develop a character and story setting something i feel oda needs to look into.

We finally get a peak inside Eren's mind. I really hope that Ymir is NOT manipulating Eren.
Yea this proves he is on his free will.

Either you die a hero or long yourself to become a villain.

Eren is pretty much like harvey dent in many ways . He was white knight or crusader but when things got ugly he realised society as whole was ugly and he think its his job to make it better.

He probably think this was only way to bring the world peace sadly the comclusion will be tragic i think author pretty much hints us that cycle of hatred will never end it just recycles.

I am pretty sure eldians will endure hatred and victimisation after eren dies so killing him will make no sense. I want to see how the story ends though but thats the gist i got author has said in dire times humans will alaays find conflict but when there is common enemy who is hell bent on wipe them from universe they will unite toghether.

Conclusion is there will be no peace in the story . Todays chapter pretty much states that Eren version of peace is not what armin views so there will be finsl showdown .

I don't know about that.

The paths make the free will thing quite complicated. Eren has his free will yes but he can see what his future self will do and this "trap" him into doing the same and following his future footstep. Eren thinks he cannot change the future and didn't do it. In a sense having those memories and their effects on his will, makes him a bit a slave of his own future.

True , i however dont think ymir is manipulating him , she never desired killing.

I am getting the gist fritz 1 might be pulling the string from behind. For eren to have wild thoughts to kill everyone is madness even for his naive way of thinking about the world.

I have a feeling eren def had interaction with him or i dont see him radically change so much considering attack titan has memories of past and future . Itspossible fritz pulling things up .

I don't know but this is true that the first king that put Paradise behind a wall and made the Titan threat is quite absent of the story and we didn't really have a flashback of the guy or a little backstory. It's an important character and if he had the fonding titan he knew the future too or some bits so maybe he has something about the current events or at least Eren and him talked.

I don't think Ymir is pulling the strings too. But maybe we will have more thing about her too.
But even if she doesn't manipulate him Eren having his future self memories is really hard and really put some pressure on him.

I love how he backed off at first when the boy was assaulted but even if he knew he would kill him in few years at the end Eren cannot watch without doing anything a young lad beaten by 3 narrow minded adults. And obviously Eren destroyed them 3 vs 1 haha.
Really liked Eren character here

See this chapter made me feel like this finally after so so many chapters Eren unleashes the fury of the eldians

For many decades the eldians were even turned into titans by marley and they used the transformed eldians to let them eat there own people they destroyed family let prob a mother eat her own childeren

while the eldians lived in fear and lost there beloved ones the marley people lived in peace ( they were bored of all the things the eldians never even saw once and dreamt off ) and grew in population now there is a huge difference they wanted to wipe out the eldians once for all

they forget even if a rat is concered it can unleash a an amazing force to defend its own life

that force is now the ten thousands of giant titans which will sweap away the marley
the marley asked for it though innocent people will die innocent will die in every scenario either it will be eldian or marley Eren had no choice the marley racisim for too rooted and too deep to be pulled out by a simple talk no jutsu

I also loved Erens statement he said he was dissapointed when he found out humans live outside this has so much meaning for the series
it concerns many things
even though both are humans they were prisoned in the walls while the others lived free and enjoyed there freedom nobody did a thing to help the innocent eldians behind the walls all the pain they suffered the hopeless situation all that could be prevented if just the marley people wouldnt behave like that

I understand Eren very well its either eat or be eaten and like an animal who wants to protect his childeren he attacked first to protect his childeren

Im glad a mangaka did something more realistic if Naruto would be there he would allow the marley people to invade his territory and would use talk no jutsu to change there course of action and after some many innocent eldian people would die he would forgive them and befriend with them
Isayama did right

after so many years of boredom the old AOT is back ! finally !

I repost my message from NF.

Eren Yeager is the undisputed greatest protagonist of all time

That chapter was a masterpiece, super dark.

The death of children is very poignant. It is an incredible violence: Eren who saves him anyway and collapses in tears because despite everything he has to do what he has to do but clearly that it breaks him from the inside. Eren is a very human character that you can relate to.

He knows that the difference in the number of inhabitants between paradise and the rest of the world is enormous and that if the eldians would disappear, there would be no more worries (compared to the titans) but still doesn't want to be exterminated. And this is understandable. The fact that it stops when he sees a couple with a pregnant woman... He thinks of Carla but we can imagine that it also reminds us of Historia (who is pregnant) and the page where we see eren free child and then in the meantime the civilians who are being massacred... It's beautiful and horrible... The discussion between Annie and Armin is cool (Isayama tease us with ships) and it's nice to see Armin admit that he's a traitor.

About the scenery scene:

Rumbling is the hell Eren was talking about to Falco, now we just need to see what lays beyond it. Also rip the idea of Eren pulling a lelouche and not killing any citizens

Edit:

Theory about the ending who is currently popular on the internet.

This is the official video for Akatsuki no Requiem from Linked Horizon (ED4).

Now look at it this way. The creature with feathers is young Eren, up to chapter 90. The bird in the cloak and near the graves is old Eren. The whole video is about how young Eren sees the memories of old Eren. Accordingly, we see rumbling, life after rumbling (wife and child) and Eren who apparently cries over the grave of his friends and... By the composition you can see that young Eren wants to kill/stop old Eren, but decides to throw away his weapon - an arrow, since sees "that scenery". A tree and a meadow full of flowers.

Kinoyama, Shingeki no Kino. I kneel
