ACoC increases everything, base Luffy got much faster in chapter 1010. It's an insanely strong power-up - ACoC-less Base Luffy is literally Queen level. With ACoC he was able to box with Kaido.

Never stated or even implied anywhere. Luffy simply adapted to Kaido's like he does in every fight. Base Luffy went from struggling against Blueno in EL to being able to box with base Lucci (5 times stronger than Blueno based on doriki) and that was before any haki.

25 years later and Luffy's still not ready to competitively fight strong swordsmen/blade users, they have to put their blades away to make it a fight but Oda is making top tier swordsmen for Luffy and half naked girls for Zoro, huh?

Luffy was tanking blade attack from kaido that cut throw huge as stone , cut off some arm and had to be block with CoA and swords with CoA with just his G5 body .
