Zoro looks decent this chapter especially considering that he's a fodder.

But he knew immediately Luffy was finished once those axes came out. Once again cementing it that luffy can't tank slash attacks to much.
Also Gaban praised zoro on blocking instead of praising goofy for dodging.
This isn't extremely bad look for goofy but still a bad look for him

Nice to know Kaido's rep is completely safe - at no point did Luffy use ACoC to seriously attack Gaban, bro was clowning a Queen level Luffy who wasn't even fighting back.

Gaban looks good whilst Luffy doesn't even look bad. Curious to see whether we can garner if Gaban used ACoC or not from the scans. Also wondering whether Zoro used KOH or just ACoC when he powered up alongside G5, as if it was just ACoC then that'd be the 2nd time ACoC Zoro was shown as comparable to G5 ACoC-less Luffy, the first being vs Lucci.

Tbh everyone looks fine here. Gaban gets his intro hype, Zoro gets his hype, Luffy doesn't look bad. Typical overreactions, looking forward to the scans.

Exactly. One Piece characters have natural scouters, if not sensing power levels, at the very least when someone is actively using haki. I can't remember the last time Luffy and Zoro were ok with jumping an opponent much less doing it at full power right off rip. Zoro is usually reserved. Gaban was portrayed as a legit threat from the spoilers.

Zoro jumping in with visible COC activated from the get go to assist is huge portrayal for Gaban. Zoro is not someone who will interfere in his captain's fight if he didn't feel like there was a legit reason for it.
