My honest opinion is Kid will be back on Elbaph, meet Gunko, will realize his real target never was Shanks, but Shamrock and so Shamrock will be his goal and he will win his fight against him, which is basically "Kids third fight against Shanks".

nah I m serious I think there's a slim chance of Kid fighting Shamrock if Kid makes a comeback

I mean Luffy already fought a Gorosei so I can't see Oda making him fight a holy knight

Shanks defeated Kid so if Kid beats Shamrock then it'll be an indirect victory for him over Shanks

More than those limits, it's how hard it is to grind that power that nerfs him and makes it unlikely we will see that ability again.

Then again Oda can just say he gathered shadows during the timeskip in some dark place.

Absolultely what i mean.
One of the biggest complains from „Kid Haters“ was Kid will Never defeat Odas golden Boy Shanks. And with that, Oda played them and Kid. Since the real target will be and Originals always was Shamrock. Kid just didnt knew Shamrock exists and mistook Shanks as the man attacking his Island.

I'm be honest, if Pantheos theory with Kid is true, I can really see that happening.
- What if Kid mistakes Shanks to be Shamrock, who wrecked his village in the past
- What if Gunko is truly his childhood friend

This would explain why he was soo focused to fight Shanks.
He hated him(Shamrock) for what he did with his village.
Out of all Supernova, Kid is the most important one for Oda aside Law.

It's scary though that in this Shanks's brother is there. It isn't beneath Oda to abuse Kid as a power scaling device to compare Snitch and Older Snitch
