The build up is pointless if he’s the one looking bad

About Lucci, making Zoro bloody, this is Zoro's face in the beginning of Lucci battle. He has same scuff marks and minor bruises he got during Seraphim battle.

And this is right before Zoro turned Lucci into Tandoori chicken

His face literally looks the same, just Lucci got turned into a Burger Patty on Traeger grill

About Luffy being more well rounded, that is true, in terms of abilities, he has all advanced forms of Haki. But I say Zoro wins for two major reasons
-Zoro can finish Luffy in one hit while Luffy would need at least 20
-Lack of Balance in combat. He is too weak without Gear 5th, aka too slow in Boundman and too weak in Snakeman and both forms already have time limit.

If Luffy can maintain Gear 5th for a few hours he wins.

In terms of combat speed at least based on current feats peak of Gear 5th = peak speed of Zoro > Average Speed of Zoro = Snakeman >Peak Speed of Sanji.
