I still put my Money on Loki not being the Enemy they say he would be.
i am sure he was a troublesome, like ace and luffy were. Always causing trouble etc.. But i am damn sure he is good at Heart and got played with King Harald and Jarul. Either he wasnt the one killing the king, or he did it in selfdefense or Defense of Elbaph.
Wouldnt surprise me if Jarul works with the government of/and Harald wanted to become the sun god and conquer the world.
So i say it again, Loki is Not the bad guy.
This will either be shown directly next chapter, or he will knock Hajrudin etc. out and flee, but wont harm them further.
Can imagine he knocks them out by CoC, flees but takes Luffy, Zoro and Sanji with him. They Take Chopper to help him and we get the story of Parts of it in a few chapters.
Loki will be the, slightly different, Princess in disguise this arc..

Just went back to your post history and found that post. I can definitely see what you said happening. Glad that someone thought the same thing after this chapter. I initially took it as a dumb gag the first time we saw him, but this chapter really made it seem like it would play a more important role in the plot. Feels like the funny type of thing Oda would do.
Im probably the only one who thinks this but I don't think Loki will fight Luffy, Zoro and sanji.
Their main objective is to get information on Shanks from Loki.
I believe he will give them the info about shanks, but it will most likely be cryptic. He will warn them about the HK as well then he go after them himself.
However I think he may body Hajruddin and few other giants
