Honestly, this whole thing hypes up the Scabbards into YC territory. If you think about it, if Oden lived, he would have essentially been a Yonko in regards to the power of his subordinates. SoI think it's time to accept the Scabbards as solid YC territory. Denjiro alone is YC1 as I've been saying for a long time.

If other fandoms were making ridiculous claims like "X character is going to be the one defeat Kaido" as a means to hype X character, like Zoro fanboys were doing with Zoro, and then the second Kaido gets injured, they backpedal and start to devalue him as a character, then you can bet your ass I'd call out their hypocrisy to.

People are focusing way too much on the PL dynamics here.

More interesting things happened, like Perospero and Marco suddenly teaming up.

It's just that, that's not nearly as interesting as it should be.

Since you know, the team-up was off paneled. And based on the panels, it doesn't seem to be getting that much focus from Oda in this chapter, which is both disappointing and peculiar.

You know what would've been really hype? If they burst into the live stage shouting:

Typical admiral fanboy logic. The chapter proves scabbards>>>WB commanders. They couldnt have damaged Kaido otherwise. WB was also much weaker than the yonko at MF but still above admirals.

My prediction for next chapter is that Kinemon is going to sacrifice himself to save the scabbards to give them a chance to unleash their strongest attacks by jumping in front of Boro breath and cutting that shit in a double spread.
