Yeah, I don't really like it, but I remember reading it before the anime, and it was incredibly unpopular, it got a bit more popular after Togashi recommended it, then the anime just exploded it.

Honestly Al I will have to disagree. Animation carried DS from episode 1 to Ruis arc. Ruis arc was then pretty cool with him and his fake family. Animation kept then carrying Demon Slayer until Rengoku vs Akaza, then animation and Upper moons except for Upper moon 5.

i think the sword fights are the best in the show

it allows more creativity choreography wise

If all animes got the same direction quality as Demon Slayer then I don’t even know if people will remember that show lol. It’s just a generic story with pretty flat characters at its core, guess it’s a good starter anime though.
