Luffy was not trained by Garp, all Garp did was through Luffy in the jungle and told him to survive, Luffy is mostly self taught. Zoro was taught proffessionally. by 2 of the best teachers.

Luffy also has Future Sight and will have Advanced CoC very soon. That just shows the difference in talent between the 2.

What do you mean trained professionally? All Koshiro can do is give pointers but Zoro was performing super human feats even as a kid lifting boulders and shit.

If anything Luffy had seen FS user, the first person who Zoro saw cut steel was Zoro himself. Do you realize how much talent that requires?

Dude, you can't explain everything by Willpower=strength, other characters have strong willpower too, the antagonists have strong Willpower but it doesn't change anything. Luffy has strong Willpower but he couldn't damage Kaido so by that logic Kinemon Willpower>Luffy's Willpower. People should just accept the truth that Oda sucks, he destroyed one piece after the time skip, one piece isn't the one piece that we knew before and this is the new reality.

Luffy didn't put his heart and soul into any of the attacks he launched on Kaido. We're talking about a series where one of the characters had a .02 percent survivability rate, and recovered in less than 24 hours because of his Willpower. I can provide dozens of more examples of impossible shit being pulled off because of willpower since the series began. The scabbards gave it everything they had and managed to just barely pierce Kaido's skin. It's not like they skewered him straight through from one side to the other.

Luffy put his heart and soul in that attack since he thought that his crew is dead or at least enjured really badly, also he wa mad for O-tama being hurt.

I can provide dozens of more examples of impossible shit being pulled off because of willpower since the series began.

Only when character is strong or has been shown to have a great potential in strength.

yeah will power = strength in most cases. Even Haki's English translation is Will Power I think.... but in this case you are right...After thinking that his crew is dead he should have done better going by Oda's usual concept ( Will Power = Strength)
