Is it only me or Yamato seems less and less stronger portrayal wise with each chapter going?
I even voted for her against Zoro in the battledome but she still seems to be matched perfectly by ULTI.
I may have seriously underrated Zoro just as the others have underestimated the scabbards throughout Wano.
Gotta change my vote in the Zoro vs Yamato thread.

It was a nerf for not even a week. Now he seems to have full control over Enma and already honed his CoA. He used Enma for the fodders.
So he is stronger than beginning of Wano Shusui Zoro

I'll be shocked if Oda didn't make Zoro struggle in controlling it during his upcoming fight... Oda should AT LEAST make the jest of still trying to master it... it would even allow for bigger growth for god's sake...

Just like Luffy's Ryuu... people think he mastered Ryuu after last chapter when he freed Yamato from Cuffs... while I saw the FIRST SIGN of him still needing more control.... this is because he needed to calm/close his eyes/ and focus in order to spam it

So basically Luffy WILL probably lose his 2nd upcoming round BECAUSE he is not Spamming Ryuu effectively "just like that" easily.... I think that will allow Kaido to strike him down... while Luffy will transcend his level in Ryuu mastery in 3rd round by having MORE CONTROL in that he can activate it SO EASILY without needing to "prepare" to use it

cause both scenes Luffy used Ryuu... on the tree or on the cuffs were not happening spontaneously, Luffy was kinda taking his time to do it

So, generally the same should at least be with Zoro... it will even make his fight more intresting and will allow us to learn more about Enma that way

To this day, that scene hasnt been explained. Cheap shot and still no damage...
Perhaps the same plot armor as with Mihawk slashing Luffy and the latter proceeding like nothing happened?

On the other hand, quite a foreshadowing in the color spread we got, possibly.

Also, a parallel with Monkey King and his staff.
With awakening, the staff would get rubber properties and would expand and shrink, just like Monkey King's staff.

It also shows the new monster trio.
The big four of the crew are Franky, Jinbe, Luffy and Zoro.
The crew power ranking is changing greatly.

Most likely match-up in near future chapters will be most likely this:
Marco, Jinbe and Luffy vs Big Mom.
Zoro vs King, Kidd vs Queen, Law vs Jack.
Sanji vs Perospero, rest of the crew will be taking on Tobi Roppo and Numbers.
Further matches will occur when rest of BMP manages up the waterfall if Pell or Lafitte dont kick them down again.
I could see Weevil showing up as well.

Erm, no.
Kaido was straight looking at Luffy whilst Luffy had a worried face -> and then he immediately blitzed the fuck outta Luffy.

You would be right if it was base Luffy but that was Bound Man; Luffy's arguably most powerful and balanced form.

This blow was portrayed to be the humiliating outcome of the vast difference between Luffy and an actual Yonko. That's why BB said that it is still too soon for Luffy to enter this level.
