The swords don't matter. Give Oden Kyros' gladiator sword from Dressrosa and he'd still cut Kaido

Oda gave Zoro Emma because Emma forces people to improve their haki in training. Now that Zoro has trained and his haki has improved, the sword no longer matters. Zoro improved haki remains the same with Emma as with a butter knife. Zoro is permanently stronger. His choice of swords doesn't change that.

Oden was strong enough to cut Kaido with any sword same as the All the scabbards.

They all have the necessary haki technique and power to hurt him.

Zoro is stronger because Wado and Enma made by same man as well I think. I agree with you all saying.

Don't worry... "Big Mom pirates" will END and it will become the "Big Brother Pirates" lead under Katakuri soon
Big Mom will kill Perospero in this war, cause Oda foreshadowed Big Mom killing him in WCI.... Katakuri will become the OLDEST Brother... and Big Mom after taken out this arc as Luffy promised... it will be time for next generation of that crew... "The Aniki Pirates" LOL

I imagine we won't see Katakuri until at least the very end of Wano arc. We need to see more of his siblings present in Wano such as Smoothie, Perospero, Daifuku and Compote. As for Big Mom it's likely that Lola was brought back for the purpose of bringing her back to Elbaf.

This chapter doesn't change drunk Kaido no selling G4 without even trying to protect himself. I guess this proves that his skin isn't impossible to penetrate but also in the last page shows no wound and he look clean, meaning the wound were either superficial or/and his dragon zan got regen capacities (scary thought)

Maybe Kaido is like phoenix, you can "kill him" but he will ressurect himself or something similiar or his mortal wounds are healed
Kaido was ambushed and off guard he didn't protected himself, he got PTSD which froze him,
Is it just for me or Yamato is "blund character", only created to give Alliance power and her character is literally :kill Kaido

It's best to wait until the upcoming chapters, but nothing suggests a betrayal more like Perospero wants the alliance with Kaido to end seeing how he doesn't trust the Beasts Pirates.

Kaido and the Calamities are most likely Awakened Zoan users. Injuring them is already a feat but the far greater and truer difficulty is to make them stay down.

In addition of that we haven't seen their hybrid forms yet and things may start to look bleaker once it happens.

About Kaido being injured, here are my thoughts:

Ryuo is known for penetrating strong defences. And it is a known fact that strong samurais are skilled Ryuo users.
Ie. someone like Vista wouldn't be better either.

Only top tiers can pull out casual Oden's slashes at Kaido which is understanding, considering their levels of CoA and their AP.

Someone like Akainu should have no issues penetrating through Kaido's dragon scales with his magmapunch + Haki.

That's why Kaido needs AdCoA as well to protect himself from such attacks. I doubt Kaido is that dumb not to learn anything from his fight with Oden. That was Kaido 20 years ago. Current Kaido should be vastly stronger than younger Kaido.

Either that, or Oda is really that incompetent and wastes the potential of a big arc boss such as the first Yonko being defeated by Luffy and Co. I hope Oda won't humiliate Kaido any further than that.

Furthermore, yeah, Oden sure is strong and so on but at the end, it is useless if the main antagonist on this arc is consistently used as a hypetool.
Imagine Doflamingo, Crocodile or fucking Katakuri getting this threatment. Hell, Katakuri outclassed his own mother on her own arc since he was the main antagonist of WCI.

It's time that Kaido shows what he is capable of - everything else would be really disappointing.
