The only reason why the fandom assumes it was ACoC is because Ledon originally assumed that in his summary of the chapter and everybody just ran with it

Then next chapter we got GB properly reacting to CoC, he explicitly calls it as is. Not like Yamato which he just called “tough Haki”

Then you also got Luffy or Zoro not using ACoC all throughout Egghead. Oda will make it clear when ACoC is being used and it wasn’t when she bonked GB
