Speculations So is Jinbe vs Jack basically inevitable now?

Will it happen?

Kaido doesn't have to KO them in this fight. Defeat them, overwhelm them, but it doesn't mean they're gonna be completely done for.
this, they just won't die before ravaging everything and doing a fatal damage on kaido, or some other top tier, they've waited 20 years, they are boiling in their will of vengeance, they are samurais....

I think his chances increased because Inu and Neko don’t seem to care about Jack, they’re focused on Kaido. I wouldn’t say it’s inevitable though, they can still fight Jack later on.

And if we consider the fact Inu and Neko were both individually capable of competing with Jack for several hours without even using their Sulong form, if the two of them team up in their Sulong form, they might be too strong for him. In which case, their fight against Kaido could be a way to nerf them before their later fight against Jack.

tbh you'r right, the sole way for jack to give a good fight is to nerf both dukes in sulong's day.
in sulong they are definitively at least yc2 which is pretty great if you add the fact that they usually fight together, so anywhere between yc2 and yc1, and Closer to the latter. and since they are on the side of the main protagonist, their cumulated strenght at its Peak Can be enough to take down kaido's yc1 imho with extreme diff.

I personally like the Law/Jack idea more. Jinbe vs. Sasaki honestly sounds more interesting for the potential that Jinbe knows him and could be the origin of his scar.

I think people downplay the F6 and overplay the calamities, but we'll see what happens. I really am starting to be convinced that Zoro/Kid/Law power trio under Luffy right now for this arc, being the supernova on his side. Killer, Sanji and Jinbe on the otherhand can fight F6 members (Whos Who, P1 and Sasaki).

But I'm sure Sanji fans hate that idea, so I hope for their sake they are more satisfied with the matchups.

This is one of the weirdest reasons I’ve heard for why it won’t happen and idk why it’s so popular. Did Zoro know Mr. 1? Did Zoro know Ohm? Did Sanji know Jabra? They’re enemies. Jack doesn’t have to be Jinbe’s arch nemesis
mr 1 wanted to recruit him long ago.

what are jimbei and jack be like? yo you fishman too? yeah...i guess we fight

Dude, Jack is literally one of the top guys of the Beast Pirates, who the SHs are trying to take down right now. That’s enough of a reason for them to fight. Why does Jack have to be a lifelong rival of Jinbe in order for their fight to make sense? Sanji probably didn’t even know Jabra’s name when he kicked his ass, so was Sanji vs Jabra a nonsensical matchup?

I also think there is a possibility that the beast pirates, individually, are significantly stronger than the big mom pirates. While the big mom pirates work better as a team and have more versatile devil fruits, in 1v1 battles, I think the beast pirates might actually be better.

Jack's bounty is more comparable with katakuri's than cracker's. Hence I think its very possible that Who's Who and sasaki might actually be comparable to cracker in terms of strength, with jack actually being on par with smoothie.

They should help with Kaido. It would be stupid for Oda to tease the trio working together at the start of the invasion if they weren’t gonna fight Kaido
but kaido is fighting the scabbards at the moment, whereas Luffy is seemingly being set up to fight big mom. Hence there will probably be multiple rounds of fights. In round 1, the supernova beat the calamities, in round 2 they beat kaido and big mom.

I was never interested in Inu and Neko getting back at jack, jinbe like jack is a fishman, and would rank similar in their respective crews.

If neko (inu also) is really determined to use sulong on kaido, then just like with Carrot there's no way the two are going to be any shape to fight jack afterwards.

Jinbe just seems like the obvious choice to me.

Before people were pushing that jinbe should fight sasaki instead, but now that he's been cut down a peg or even already knocked out by Denjiro, there is perfect space for jack vs jinbe to happen. I can't think of a better and more fitting matchup for the two of them.

'They don't know each other' is definitely not a reason for me. But for those who believe that this is a reason for someone to fight each other then i can say they could know each other. Since there aren't much fishmen in the op world and it's likely than Jack also was born fishmen island. Or at least they've heard about each other for sure.
Unlike Kawamatsu who spent his entire life in Wano, Jack had sail and made some chaos outside of Wano. He wouldn't have his 1M bounty just for fighting some samurais that are unknown in the world.

Using bounty lol even when Oda says Underlings bounty depends on their captains and WG doesn't know how to gauge their true strength

Cracker would wash base Dukes 1 v 2
Especially if they didn't use ryou like they did vs Jacj

How does Queen or Jack beat Cracker? You can't, Cracker has better Haki, Speed and skills, his df counters brute fighters like queen and Jack too

Even King is disappointing, he hasn't shown anything enough to beat Cracker.

Oda doesn't even make calamities beat Retainers coz calamities are weak, they can't even do anything much except use gaz or cheapshot to beat Retainers.

Take away Kaido, retainers, samouraïs and Minks defeat beast pirates
That's a fact, they suck at haki and combat skikks
They rely on Endurance and recovery.
