Teach and Loki seem to be written as opposites of each other. Interesting they're both inspired by Xebec.
Loki: Has always been seen as a feared and reviled figure in Elbaf, The world-destroyer, but is secretly supposed to have a kind nature underneath.
Teach: Disguised himself as a friendly and bumbling figure on WB's ship for decades, looked (relatively) harmless when we first saw him in Mocktown, turns out to be one of the most evil characters in the series.
Loki: Completely refuses to join the holy knights because they're "scum", doesn't even consider the possibility of pretending so he can get free and backstab them. Mocks them even as they're beating him to the verge of death.
Teach: Biggest backstabber in the series and zero sense of honor, will do whatever it takes to rise to the top, including murdering their own crewmates and begging for mercy.
Both of them are accused of murdering the father (and obtaining their DFs afterward.) However...
Loki: "Do you really believe I killed our father in cold blood?"
Teach: Literally cackling as he gunned down Whitebeard.

I get WANTING to make Loki the villain, but, it's been one of the worst forced agendas I've seen in years.
