Shows again how great was Garp already in his young years, the Navy totally believe in him and let him fight in front against a top tier, while the admirals didn´t probably even get the same threatment. And be honest in that time probably Kong and Zephry was already admirals, yet Garp get the full control about the attack against the Rocks. As I said in the past, even if Jinbe said the Navy is today in the strongest form, I feel like in the past when Garp was in his prime alongside the admirals, they was probably at their strongest prime.

Kong stated that Sengoku and Garp were fighting at the front lines since Rogers's era, so I would imagine that these two were the main fighter's. Kong was obviously Top Tier, but just as now he was behind his desk most of the time.

Now that I have read the chapter once more, a few points worth noting:

- Akainu is not hostile towards Fuji anymore, probably because Fuji saved the CDs from the revolutionaries in the latest battle.

- The D's will call out a storm again. Does it mean Law will be relevant in the battle against Blackbeard? Will it be a similar situation like the God Valley battle when 3 D's Rocks-Roger-Garp fighting.

- The final poneglyph is probably at the God Valley island. Buggy is looking for captain John's treasure who was part of Rocks crew and there is a possibility that John hid his treasure in God Valley. Buggy, who has the map, will probably lead the strawhats there.

- Blackbeard will do something big to reach 4bn+ bounty. My guess is Aokiji is working as an agent of Sword and BB will kill him to get a jump in his bounty.

- The Red haired pirates being well balanced might imply that Ben Beckmann is much stronger than other YC1s.

- Massive Oden hype incoming

So who do you think was the second in command in the Rocks crew?
I think it's WB..
And man, this means he is Zoro's equivalent :smithnie:
Also I remember when some people said Monster trio was a fan made thing :fujilaugh:
yet another chapter introducing the "top three fighters" notion in a top tier crew..
We know who are the top two fighters behind Luffy the future pirate king :catlewd:

I don't like the idea of Law teaming up with Luffy against Blackbeard. Other than being Ds, there's nothing connecting Law to Teach, and Teach and his crew have been clearly set up as the Shadow Straw Hats. That would also mean Luffy doesn't solo any of the Yonko in high stakes death matches :giogio:
