Overall I kinda can't wait to see it end and the epilogue must be fun, mostly because I tend to forget a lot between releases except for "ah, last boss fight is still ongoing".

I probably will do a reread once it's over. At least the final arc again.

So I caught up to Black Clover.


The Morgen fight was nice. Nacht having to go through the same thing again must have been incredibly painful.


Mereo going wild was awesome as well.



Wonder what Lucius is cooking next. Asta and Yuno seem to be hella worried in that Last panel.

Yeah, I often re-read stuff when the arc is finally over, and in some cases I even wait for the manga to be completed (like D Gray-Man, I remember liking it a lot, and then hiatus struck, and irregular releases, I was so lost in the plot that I decided to wait.

Same with HxH, there are updates to the last arc, but the whole princes competition is so sophisticated in terms of plot, there are quite a lot of new characters, so reading 10 chapters in 1/2 year doesn't help. I'm waiting patiently:)

Afaik, mangaka had health issues, so the manga is now published in a different magazine. He hand draws everything with ink and not doing things digitally, so it takes time and a lot of effort.

It's exactly as @Devilbat said. Tabata had health issues and moved to a diff magazine now.

I knew about the magazine change but the every 3 month seems excessive
If he has health issues then it makes sense
Hope he takes care and recovers unlike Togashi who's been having problems for decades.

You can always wait until the last chapter and then read the remaining ones in bulk (I guess there will be maybe 10-15 more chapters, 20 at max)

I'd wait for it to end tbh
2-3 chapters per 3-4 month is a horrible pace to keep up, and while I'm happy that mangaka can finally attend to his health, I'd be happier if the manga ended by the time he went on irregular updates :)

I probably will do that. I have enough other manga and manwha I'm following to keep me entertained and if not, I can pick Hajime no Ippo back up at some point.
