The timeslot change for 1124+ is honestly a tad unfortunate for me, my time zone is 4 hours behind the Japanese one, so I'd usually wake up somewhat early on Sundays (by that point the episode would be out for a few hours, so it would be available in decent quality by this point) and just enjoy the show. Now it's gonna come out at like 7 pm for me, which is exactly the time I'm in the middle of studying for the harsh uni Monday.

Ah yes, the good ol days of studying for Uni while watching the new OP episode. It was in Fishman Island in my first year lol

I'm so old I almost forgot those days. Thank you for reminding me.

Not gonna lie, this guy's channel is pretty damn awful in my eyes (constant torrent of shoddy af theories), but a broken clock is right twice a day yada yada yada.

I've always deeply hated him for good reason. Same with Grandline Review. It started with Joyboy Theories and BlackLegVinsmoke. The OP Youtube and thus theory community for OP on there and in general fell really hard because of these insufferable, pretentious, egotistical, egregrious youtubers.

I used to be close with a few OP Youtubers and even a mod for them and one of them whose name I won't mention, really sold out and became so shallow, fake, exaggerated and insufferable, like the most obnoxious celebrities/people in general/characters you know, to the point it feels like the most badly written parody of themselves and he admitted to me many years ago in private that he was gonna do that, that was his mantra too, but it was much worse than I imagined given how much he's blown up immensely on there now. A LOT of people love him because of certain reasons but if I say why, it will almost definitely give away who he is too. He's one of the most toxic creators but not in the ways other OP youtubers/creators tend to be, more in a sort of "worstgen" sort of way without saying too much.

I would have completely hated him for what hes become now if I were still friends with and modding for him and given some of the things hes said and done, I'm glad I burned bridges with him instead of regretting it like I did before. That might make me an asshole too ofc but it just hurts to see someone who you respected a lot before, really become something they're not for clout and sell themselves to the point they have no soul left or seem soulless anyway. But he has his success, he's way more popular and beloved, well known now so I can't hate either, he's "getting that bag" as people say these days ande made a huge name for himself, so all the better for him too.

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest, it still hurts me to this day. I've had to deal with my closest lifelong friends IRL really turning into people I barely know or even recognise anymore lately and it's tearing me apart like I'm Tommy Wiseau in The Room movie and Lisa is making my life hell apparently lmfao.

Kizaru's character arc has been more weirdly personal for me than it should have been, but he, Kuzan and Fujitora have always been my favourite Admirals although I expected Fujitora to be my favourite followed by Kuzan too.

Out of the list you mentioned, I only heard of Joy Boy theories. I also remember from like 2007 when I was in highschool kids in my class used to watch Naruto Pain Arc manga reviews from a guy called Sawyer and another guy called Foreverworld or something like that lol

My entire life I probably watched 10-15 OP youtube reviews/discussions/reactions. and I always found it super cringe tbh. None of the reactions are genuine, and most discussions are stolen/recycled from online forums. I'd rather spam pepe emotes here and watch MonsterZoro have a manic episode when Sanji doesn't awaken CoC.

I don't know who you're referring to, but I can guess it's that dude that became really popular with the Sanji wank/Anti Zoro powerscaling memes. Jay Legend or whatever his name is.

Damn... Feel sorry for you, bud. Can't exactly imagine how shitty this may feel.

I think the only OP YouTubers I do enjoy are Tekking (his love for the series feels genuine, he's just such an outwardly expressive goofball) and King Recon (also seems sincere + he's a certified HxH chad). And I firmly believe there's no legitimately great theory-crafting OP YouTuber atm, unfortunately.

Ah count yourself lucky haha. Funnily enough, I knew about Monkey D. Theories on Youtube way before here too lol. I used to watch his videos on there. I was proper in-deep with the whole niche theory community there, there was a wonderful Japanese theory channel that did these really niche, in-depth analyses theories of One Piece with the most relaxing, wonderful piano music and attitude too. I don't know if they're still around on there now?

Then there was Marco the OP Theorist, who did some AMAZING theories and predicted the time travel of Wano, Momo being aged up, Kanjuro traitor etc WAY before it happened and he has a GODLY theory about Shanks, West Blue and Journey to The West too. He also keeps using the AMAZING music from Rurouni Kenshin that I love, especially the extremely sad, powerful Departure song.

:PepeCoolGuyCry::PepeCoolGuyCry::PepeCoolGuyCry::PepeCoolGuyCry::feelscryingman::feelscryingman::feelscryingman::feelscryingman:

And then there was Alpha2Late17, who made some really interesting and well presented theories, in a sort of similar way to Marco but this absolutely hilarious and unhinged shitposter called Pirate King Buggy (who kept deleting all his videos and starting over on his own channel) went on a massive witch hunt exposé of him claiming all his theories were stolen from others and it was a huge fiasco naturally.

Oops, I keep randomly lore dropping again lmao, damn habit!

Sawyer is a freaking OG man, one of the Yonkos of the OP community as people call him like KOL and Rogerbase ofc. The OG titans, the founders lmao. Unfortunately ForneverWorld technically counts as one too and the dude is memes upon memes for the wrong reason lol. There was a lot of drama with him in the past online, it was a wild arc.

Yeah, I totally agree. Tekking was the only one I genuinely enjoyed when I used to watch him regularly. It's exactly as you said—everything feels so manufactured, like reality TV. I know that at least in RogersBase's case, he had to adjust his approach after dealing with constant spoilers from people on Twitter and, I think, Discord DMs too. I've had mixed opinions on both him and Morj over time, but I definitely respect Roger. He's got a great sense of humor and can be super likable and friendly, while also being unafraid to be critical of Oda and One Piece. He doesn't just blindly praise everything like some other One Piece creators out there (cough Ohara). I’m not just talking about Ohara Artur—both of them have that vibe, but Artur especially seemed to take pride in watching Film Red 17 times at the cinema... like, seriously? Maybe he's exaggerating, but it still feels odd.

Drizzt, though, was always my favorite. A real stand-up guy—super funny, honest, sincere and nice, but also the most openly critical by FAR, which unfortunately led to him getting vilified by a lot of the community. He was the only person where I felt I could openly criticize One Piece and Oda without getting bombarded with death threats and nasty insults, which seemed to be the norm everywhere else for even the mildest criticism.

Worstgen has the most balanced and honest reactions to the series, its not just all hate and definitely not all glaze either ofc, that's what makes this place great naturally. Plus the memes/shitposting here is something else, stuff you could only see and understand whilst being here too.

MonsterZoro's manic episodes hahahaha oh man, he's priceless, he's like a recurring gag character who constantly wages war on certain others, like massive hater energy but in such a funny and usually non-serious way, just such a magnificient troll who constantly tricks people including me lmfao.

I remember your brilliant shitposting of his shenanigans and meltdowns in Fiends vs Providers too ofc! Legendary series!
Damn... Feel sorry for you, bud. Can't exactly imagine how shitty this may feel.

Thank you so much, it's extremely painful, heartbreaking, it feels like I've lost a loved one basically, I'm grieving hard. I lost my grandmother almost 2 years ago now but it feels a lot longer and what I'm going through with my "friends" is giving me that same kind of pain and grief even though they're still alive, I'm just "dead to them" effectively, ironically I feel like a "ghost" to them and they are slowly "ghosting me" over time (its ironic as my main nickname is actually Ghostly lmao).

Aye Tekking! That's exactly it, he had the most sincere enthusiam and passion for the series aside from Drizzt, they were like yin and yang for me LMAO. Both of them really love the series but have totally different energy towards it and thus actions, perspectives and such. Kinda like how overwhelmingly different Naruto and Sasuke are to each other and yet they can deeply understand one another and have some similarities where it really matters too.

I stopped watching Tekking sometime after he started doing the "Barry the Brick" stuff but I saw some funny stuff with him especially his whole "not a furry arc" like @Mr. Reloaded here ofc and ironically it was due to Carrot and bunnies, so it makes me wonder if Tekking is just Mr Reloaded or @Pot Goblin as both of them are really chill and funny too, wholesome people that don't cause drama and fights and just are widely beloved or is it just hilarious, serendipitious coincidence?

I'm so glad Tekking got his own place now though and thus a "proper room" or even "studio" for his video making and he's blown up IMMENSELY in subscribers since I used to watch him, its INSANE! Completely deserved too and the fact he even raises hundreds or even thousands every year for St Jude Children's Hospital too! I'm assuming he still does that ofc, as he used to do it every Christmas?

On that note, I’ve actually seen Tekking be incredibly kind and empathetic toward a very niche One Piece YouTuber who was meeting him for the first time. I don’t want to say too much because it might give away who I was ranting about earlier, but something really embarrassing happened to this YouTuber, and Tekking was the only one in the group who genuinely supported him instead of laughing or making fun of him. Looking back on it years later, I’ve gained so much respect for Tekking because of that. As someone who was always bullied and ostracized growing up, I really appreciated seeing that kind of kindness.

Ironically, I was involved in memeing about the situation too—it was honestly pretty hilarious, given the timing of the current One Piece story and the characters involved. The YouTuber was a friend of mine, and I was even modding for him at the time. Thankfully, he took all the slander and memes in stride, and it made for some unforgettable laughs. I could tell you the whole story, but I don't want to give away too much, though I promise it was absolutely hilarious. We were in tears of laughter for ages!

Tekking was really respectful to him unlike the others, even though they were LEAGUES apart in popularity and he wasn't being elitist towards the guy passively like they were, due to the fact he was a "nobody" and thus barely had subscribers and viewers compared to them especially and he didn't have that all "fancy", "professional" setup they had and thus their pretentious facades too. He was just a down to earth guy who REALLY LOVES One Piece just as much as Tekking does and has the FUNNIEST TO GOD reactions I've ever seen, think like Uzumaki Khan but not as loud and screamy but still a bit of chaos and very Luffy or Chopper-like IRL or something.

God, I'm really typing essays today, sorry! LOL!

:usosmug::pepebusi::beanmean::pepehawk::DanySquint: :Gai_Smirk:

King Recon! I've never watched his stuff but I know him from a former friend who is a really big fan of his, he's another OG titan ofc! I keep forgetting about him lol.

Yeah after the Joyboy Theories Nation attacked, OP theory crafting really died and it became so sensationalist, mass manufactured, lazy, clout chasing, egregious, troll-heavy and so on. The grift is real and it is succesful unfortunately. I remember when LegendMac was a HUGE problem for this and had millions of ads on his videos too with the WORST clickbait shit way before we had stuff like those stupid Anime no Mi videos and those extremely annoying AI generated or just drawn to piss people off sensationalist, clickbaity thumbnails and those titles too lol.

I remember the days of the "legendary" AnimeFanTalk and his severe open hentai addiction on Twitter, retweeting tons of hentai and giving some of our biggest gooners here serious cum competition lmfao. He was clowned HARD for maybe years for saying Sabo was "Yonko Level" after only Dressrosa too, it was a HILARIOUSLY WILD time lmfao, he never lived that down and I can only imagine the CHAOS with the whole Sabo vs the Gorosei and Imu incident and Sabo getting declared "The Flame Emperor" instory AND Imu malding so much, he nuked the entire island of Lulusia to "swat a fly" or "hunt a rabbit" as Mihawk and the Holy Knights would say lol.

I am quite eager to see this panel animated in today's ep:

This gonna be me, especially when we get to the dramatic conclusion of all of this and everything that has happened up to that point too ofc:

:PepeCoolGuyCry::PepeCoolGuyCry::PepeCoolGuyCry::PepeCoolGuyCry::PepeCoolGuyCry::PepeCoolGuyCry:

(I should also refer to the amazingly poignant, tragic and symbolic art in my signature too ofc)

This song feels fitting for Kizaru too, especially after that arc:

(Even though Limp Bizkit gets clowned a lot, I think he's much better than people take him for when he wants to be and I really love this version of the song, it really hits deeply emotionally and has that soul, that poignancy to it for me.)

A pox upon ye for making me search Google for Caseoh. One of the first results in Images is of him without a shirt and I did NOT need to see that.

Also how dare you compare my role model and favourite bear oppressor Sigmamaru to this...human blobfish.
Nah

CaseOh low diffs Rob Lucci

That's the Gear 4 Tank-Man build

You can fit at least 5 One Pieces in CaseOh, maybe 6

Why should the WSS postpone the fight? If he was that good why couldn't he one shot Vista? :willight:
Same reason why he didn't one shot baratie Zoro, he is interested in swordsmanship and swordsmans are allowed to flex their mastery in front of guru Mihawk:finally:
