Like kizaru was personally send out to sabaody after luffy punched the CD, this chapter implies the CD's have more might in commanding the marines strongest force. and garp didnt want that.
Yeah but the navy soldiers are obligated to protect CDs, no matter their rank. Kizaru came because he is the fastest and was bored, it’s not like they actually give a shit about CDs anyways

That's why is a guess.

Some claim he's after Boa (I think that's too faulty).

956 We see Dragon wanting to check the situation first cuz they can't contact him.

Him being captured and escorted to IP is more believable.

But is a guess thanks.
Yeah yeah gotcha.. I've also speculated that Sabo might have been caught
Not that I really want another rescue arc, but Sabo could end up being the brother Luffy manages to save
But so far its only speculation, not fact

well yes and no, sengoku is clearly implying there is a difference in relation to the CD's when you are an admiral.

how likely do you think sabos already dead?

The picture of him bandaged and we see his ship in the what we suggest is the calm belt.

Is in the chapter sir.
Nothing suggests that he is in the calm belt.
The sea monster is a very small one and they are everywhere (e.g. Windmill Village stink fish, Little Garden Island Eater). Not to mention that the sails are up and they aren't rowing, while obviously sailing. Well, sails don't work at all in the calm belt, since there is no wind. They would have to row,but they aren't.

He could be there. But right now there simply isn't anything that points to it.

When did Lola leave Big Mom? (It's related to Shanks, so it's not off topic before anyone wants to imitate him and report me.)

The seaking that bit Shanks's arm off formed its own pirate crew. It'll be one of the two replacements for Big Mom and Kaido after Wano.

Yeah! But it is disappointing to not get any reaction from the Gorosei.
Maybe they're busy with their great cleansing..
100% he knows Sengoku said their name was known by everyone at that time....and Brook knew the name of Roger when he (Roger) was just a Rookie so i won't be surprised if he knows...

This and Teach's ship "Saber of Xebec" it can be anything at this pont man
Where was the name mentioned??

This has most likely come up in this thread given how obvious it is I reckon, but it's evident that Shanks inherited Roger's sword (I mean he and Roger's swords look exactly the same), so I wonder if he inherited Roger's fighting style as well. It could be that Shanks wasn't primarily a swordsman but a pirate that wielded a sword & a gun (matchlock). In which case it'd make sense why Mihawk refuses to fight Shanks anymore even if Shanks has gotten a lot stronger than he used to be. Hypothetically speaking, even if Mihawk fights current Shanks and wins, it wouldn't be Shanks at his max potential.

To put it into numbers let's say Shanks used to be a 60 strength-wise when he used to fight Mihawk, and his potential was 100 strength points with a sword and a matchlock (let's say Roger level, given he was Roger's direct successor), as a result of losing his arm, he maxes out to around 80ish (Yonkou level), so in Mihawk's mind, he wouldn't be fighting Shanks at his best regardless of whether the later is just a strong as him without his arm or even stronger than him.

Only issue with that is that we've seen Shanks get ready for clashes prior to losing his arm - he only used one sword. The arm he lost was his dominant arm.

WB was Kaido nakama, and he has to chose to help his nakama save his son, and take revenge for his Captain Rocks, or help WG kill his nakama?! Even if we take as example BM and Kaido answer should be simple, what Kaido would chose in that situation.
The Rocks crew hated each other. They weren't friends. Kaido is an insane genocidal asshole who enslaves countries for his own genocidal purposes, not to mention, the country of Whitebeards actual friend(whom Kaido murdered).

Kaido was going to claim Whitebeard's head before the marines did.

PS: Nakama just means friend or comrade. Its not a special word. Its dumb. Never use it.

Could be that he hadn't adapted said fighting style yet at that point in the story, or maybe Oda didn't want to reveal it just yet (IIRC, the scenes we've seen of Shanks fight prior to losing his arm are those of when he was an apprentice on Roger's ship. Except I've missed one of them) . Also goofed a bit on my last post...lolz, I said Shanks lost his right arm, but after confirming, seems that it was his left that he lost. Also, how did you come to the conclusion that he lost his dominant arm? In Episode 0 Shanks was seen wielding a sword with his right arm so I reckon he still retains his dominant sword arm.

Let me give me thoughts on this since I just joined this forum. This is all pretty much what I expected, except the part of Garp and Roger allying.

My guess since Whole Cake Island for Kaido's bounty was... 4.5 billion. It's 4.6. Why? Because Luffy's bounty has a pattern of tripling.

Alabasta: 30 million to 100 million. (Slightly more than 3x)
Ennies Lobby: 100 million to 300 million. (3x)
Marineford/Dressrosa was the exception, since 300 million was the "limit". So he slowly went 300 -> 400 -> 500.
Whole Cake Island: 500 million to 1.5 billion. (3x)

So Kaido's bounty is slightly more than 3x current Luffy's bounty, and if it follows Alabasta in terms of fighting (gets owned in 1st fight and comes back to win), Luffy's bounty will be 5 billion, which was my guess too. And another reason why I believe this, is because Whitebeard is 5.046 billion, so only Whitebeard and Roger would symbolically be above Luffy as he becomes a fully fledged Yonko.

Ever since Big Mom set sail for Wano, it became clear Rox would be revived, and Luffy taking down Kaido = Garp taking down Rox. Oda clearly said this would make Marineford look like a joke, and marines are clearly going to join as per Sengoku's statement about Oden.

As for the matchups, I think it was something like:

Garp vs. Rox
Roger vs. Whitebeard (the infamous stalemate)
Rayleigh vs. Linlin
