You have literally zero idea what you are talking about at all.

There are definitely some issues with readability in some of Vincent’s cuts, but the overall skill on display is on a completely different level to Marineford and Punk Hazard.

We are so spoiled these days guys scoff even at Shida’s work, which was really the pinnacle(along with two or three other animators) of One Piece animation back during that period.

The animation quality for the series is in a completely different league than it was back then.

Even something like Bonney fighting the marines this episode was more animated than Smoker than Smoker vs Vergo.
And here come the dogshit defenders here to explain how much work went into producing the shittiest fucking thing you’ve ever seen in your life lmfao.

Don’t even try. The more you try to explain how much effort that garbage took just shames the animators even more.

I’m not even going to say “effort”, I’m saying that is objectively technically more impressive in every way.

The only person shaming themselves is yourself with your stunning ignorance of anything to do with animation.

You can’t even try to approach this topic with any sort of humility or curiosity whatsoever.

This dude is the normiest of normie who thinks the more shit you add to the screen and the more wiggly it is, that means it's good animation
:risitears:

I at least agree that it's on "different league" as in, literal abomination that should be not seen by sane people otherwise their brain will leak out from nonsensical shit on the screen.
This is the type of dude who thinks the Star Wars prequels were good because a bunch of fat sweaty computer animators added a lot of shit to the soulless, lifeless, nonsensical CGI scenes

You don’t know wtf you are talking about and are again shaming yourself due to your inability to approach anything with curiosity or humility.

The Star Wars prequels are overall pretty bad movies.
I don’t think anyone denies that.
They can be given some credit for visual effects that were genuinely innovative at the time, and some of which does hold up quite well, but that does not make them good movies.

For reference, this is Akihiro Ota’s scene.

what about this is overly flashy or difficult to read? @L57 @kurwa

Were not talking about exclusive animators, you doofus
We're talking about that whole fight as a whole. We're not that autistic to know some random animator's names and their cuts.

This dude's animation suffers from lack of logic in the fight:
-Why is Kizaru, who can fly and travel at light speed is running with his legs on his arm?
-Why is Kizaru not cutting up the arm while running towards him? Just lower the sword dude.
-Why Kizaru needs to catch his LIGHT clones and throw them back? They aren't physical bodies like Naruto's clones.
-Why when he slaps the clones they can just reform but when he kicks them they disappear?

And in general this sequence was boring.

Yep here we go lmfao. Literally unironically defending this just because there’s so much happening that you’re experiencing sensory overload.

You’re so overwhelmed by the flashing lights and moving pieces that you can’t recognize shit when you see it.

I really shake my head every single time someone tries to sell the current OP artwork and animation quality as "peak anime" or something like that.

It's like those nutsack-lickers have never watched any other anime.

Heck, I even take pre-skip OP anime quality over the current overcolored ecstasy bullshit.

HOLY SHIT I JUST WATCHED IT WHY IS IT SO SLOW PACED
:kobeha:
Dressrosa filler episodes felt faster than that sequence of the Kizarus jogging in line to cut Goofy
