G-league core is crazy 😂 boy you a shameless steph fan lol
It was a hyperbole because they still had Jimmy and Dray but a lot of them were really young and folded under pressure. Podz was ass for a starter, only Kuminga showed good things. And yes, Steph’s gravity helped them tremendously on offense. Steph doesn’t even need to shoot well, his presence alone opened the floor.

Lmao warriors are actually a good team without Steph, it’s just that the wolves matchup pretty good vs a small team.

Honestly, with Steph they still lose to the wolves in 6 or 7. They don’t get past OKC who has the size advantage in every matchup either

Rockets were one of the most physical teams in the nba rn and the Warriors got past them. Look at how easy Curry scored against the Wolves in 12 minutes in comparison. We didn’t have enough sample size to see how the series would go but the Warriors offense is completely different without Steph. They also don’t have a guy who can give them reliable shots without being open thanks to Steph’s gravity.

Jimmy was never aggressive, he’s probably still injured. Didn’t look right for most of the series. Warriors would have won with Steph, they’re actually way better defenders than the Lakers and then they can get their offense moving.

Physical has nothing to do with it. I am talking about size itself. Big athletic lineups give small lineups nightmares

with Steph on the court he would’ve been targeted by Edward’s as well, dont forget that.

the wolves are just a bigger team hence they can disrupt and score with much ease. OKC is an even bigger team with guys who can shoot at every position. I don’t think the Celtics beat OKC either, I am not dissing the warriors is just you have extremely biased view of what would happen

The Rockets also had a size advantage, and were way more physical. Sengun was killing them in the paint at several points of the series, particularly in fourth quarters when the starters were gassed. Anyways, with Steph then their offense is way better.

Warriors would have never gone down 1-3 with Steph around. In fact, the Warriors almost tied it in game 3 and the series would have looked a different. The closer the series gets, the more that psychology plays a role. In game 6 or 7, Wolves won’t particularly have the advantage against a locked in Steph and Jimmy.

You’re also forgetting that they blew out the Wolves in the only game that Steph played lol. How are you so confident that they would have won anyways LOL. Steph gave them a double digit lead and they maintained it throughout. They had trouble starting their offense in the first quarter in succeeding games. Steph’s absence is a big domino effect especially when Jimmy was also clearly not feeling himself/injured.

They're dogwater, definitely a lottery bound team without Steph.

With Steph (and Jimmy) they can compete for the ring, his spacing can do that for the scrubs.

I doubt Warriors lose to Wolves with healthy Steph, this series would be easier than the Rockets. Steph would feast and create so many open looks, Wolves would have no way to defend it.

Rockets are being underestimated, Steph himself said it was one of the toughest defense he had to face. And he wasn’t lying… instantly scored double digits within 12 minutes in the next series. He was locked in and won’t have as much scoring issues as he did against the Rockets.

Think the Rockets could have beaten Lakers or Wolves too, definitely a long series. I would only really be confident with OKC against them in this year’s playoffs.

I kinda miss Jordan Poole or Wiggins, if Dray wasn’t a dumbass then Warriors would have kept developing Poole. Right now he’d be a demon shooter who thrives under Warriors culture. Instead we got another youngling in Podz as a starter lol. Hope he becomes much better next season though, Kerr is seeing something in him that I don‘t yet.

Again, physicality doesnt correlate with size. Size makes it easier to score and disrupt. Rockets only have Sengun, Wolves have Randle, Edwards and Nazr. They also have Walker-Alexander, Gobert and McDaniels on defense.

The Wolves literally beat the best player in the league last year in close games. What is this nonsese? These aint chokers.

"blew out"

Literally won by 11 pts...

Steph is good, but ya make him sound like lebron james LMAO. Matchups matter, don't compare a Rockets team to a Wolves team that is going back2back WCF

and again, they don't get past OKC who are last years Celtics on steroids

Smh, I knew you were not that bright
No I am just a basketball fan, not a Curry dicksucker

Warriors weren't losing to Twolves with Steph lol, no shot in hell, Twolves already lost game 1, Warriors weren't gonna lose that series after being up 1-0 on the road, not with Steph. He knew this too, that's why the injury was killing him. He saw food infront of him.

Twolves are a much easier matchup than Rockets were for the Warriors. Steph being out meant Warriors offense was in the gutter (i think it's statistically the worst in the league) and they were still only winning by single digits. Rockets were actually blowing Warriors out even with Steph playing, they were the tougher opponent.

Rockets were hounding Steph, way tougher series. Wolves would look like a playground for Steph in comparison, size doesn’t bother him that much. Quick defense who can keep up with him do, and the Rockets can not only do that but were rough housing and fouling him. The refs allowed it, while the Wolves won’t do that to Steph. Their coach was complaining about the Warriors’ defense which was dialed down in comparison. Not their style of play.

Wolves can outrebound the Warriors but they can’t hinder their offense compared to what the Rockets did.
