It was pretty clear imo, Oda drew a glint in his shades as if he saw what they were gonna do, and left himself completely defenseless after that as if he got confirmation that they were gonna stop in the middle of their attacks.

That scene just doesn't make sense to me without future sight. It's drawn in a very specific way.

Luffy was also using future sight in that exchange because he already reacted to Gaban's move before it came out. Oda made that very clear by drawing that over the top Luffy expression before Gaban even got into his swing.

I mean this is only seeing it in hindsight.

All the times that FS were used were really obvious. Kaido outright said he had it, Ben said it too as if it wasn’t obvious enough that Shanks used it. Don’t know man, I just won’t assume what advanced type of haki is being used until we see the much more obvious confirmations.

How does AdCoC even allign with his fruit though?

WB , Bigmom , Fujitora , Law Are devil fruit centric users.

They have Haki but it doesn't Amplify their DF attacks anyhow , How do you coat Shockwave , Gravity , Bigmom DF in haki?

They can use Haki to Touch or hurt Logia users but I dont think so it will turn out like Luffy / Katakuri / Doffy types of Enchanced Attacks.

Having it as a side skill is fine.

The shockwaves come from his sword, it’s easy to assume he can channel haki through it

also Haki is the most vague power ever, Oda can come up with multiple haki abilities with adCoC and no one would care

Akainu's fighting style will likely mirror Whitebeard's in some regard IMO.

In MF Kuzan fought Jozu who also likes to box using elemental powers to supplement his strikes, and Kizaru fought Marco who also specializes in speed, defense and kicks, while Mihawk fought his fellow swordsman Vista.

So Akainu's fighting style might resemble WB's in some regard. I'm thinking lots of raw strength combined with fruit usage.

That's what I'm trying to say. They can use Haki like Whitebeard did.

Whitebeard Projected his Haki Ryou to materialise Logia user like Akainu and then hit him with Gura punch.

Law can Radiate haki like that too given How he worked against DoC q Hax. And then land his puncture Wille.
Or else on logia it would have no effect.

Only problem is Haki is just a medium for Types of WB , Bigmom, Law , Fujitora to land their DF attacks.

Unlike Luffy Katakuri Doffy , where there AP is enhanced with Haki. Gear 4 , Holy bullets , Power Mochi.
