Imu silhouette looks so cartoonishly stupid. At least Kaguyass had elegant but terrifying appearance she even made infinite tsukuyomi go crazy
Oda better have a fantastic design for Imu. Like not just good but it has to be his best design yet after 6 years of teasing cuz Imu silhouette piece is ass. If it’s like Nika form or Vegapunk clown reveal the final war will fall off like a cliff

Kaguya’s got a good design but non-threatening nor exciting for a final villain. Partly because she was also shoehorned into the story, within the last 20 chapters to boot lmfao. Nobody would have ever gotten invested in that crap, I couldn’t have cared less about her. Imu is already integrated into the story way better than Kaguya will ever be.
What has Regen Merchants done in present storyline:
- Nuked random island Lulusia and killed nobody relevant
- Killed Cobra
- Witnessed by Sabo and Sabo managed to survive
- Gorosei became punching bag in Egghead
- Both Imu and Gorosei got wifi diffed by a guy who died 800 years ago
- Holy Knights became punching bag in Elbaf and resorted to kidnapping
What has Blackbeard Pirates done in present storyline:
- Defeated MC's brother, Ace and brought him to Navy
- Lafitte infiltrated Mariejois and Teach became Shichibukai
- Infiltrated Impel Down, recruited Shiryu and level 6 prisoners, and defeated Magellan
- Killed World Strongest Man Whitebeard and took strongest paramecia Gura Gura no Mi
- Defeated Bonney and asker her to be Teach's girlfriend
- Stomped remnant of Whitebeard Pirates and took over their territories
- Burgess came to Dressrosa but failed to get Mera Mera no Mi
- Invaded Revolutionary Army's base
- Teach almost beat Hancock, and kidnapped Coby
- Beat Cracker and kidnapped Pudding
- Shiryu and Aokiji defeated, retired and captured the most legendary Navy ever, Hero Garp without Teach himself being there
- Teach beat Law and Heart Pirates

It is pretty clear which 1 is more relevant to story and more competent between Regen Merchants and Blackbeard Pirates.

I don't find anything about him generic (His design, the way he doesn't just brute force through every obstacle and instead relies on his extreme patience, even the way he instantly saw Luffy's potential)
The ruler of the world thing is him trying to do what Rocks couldn't and that'll probably tie into the BB flashback nicely, he probably has a good reason for respecting Rocks.
