Why couldn't they be hotter than magma? To me, it seems that's exactly the point Oda was making with the colour scheme. Oda is well aware of the scientific relevance of blue flames, and you can very clearly see the sparks sourcing from the plasma-like fire of Ifrit.


It would've actually been cool if Ifrit unlocked lightning/electric/plasma based abilities for Sanji.

I don't think it would be cheap at all. I think would be a perfectly fitting twist, because we know Blackbeard wasn't the first to challenge Imu. Before Teach, there was Rocks.

I think Blackbeard will use Catarina to infiltrate the Holyland, kill Imu and take his DF, which may or may not be the Earth God DF.

However, I don't think Imu will be completely gone from the story. If his DF is a Zoan and Zoans are imprinted with a soul of their own, I believe BB will carry a part of Imu with him.

Come on, Akainu is out there chopping off limbs with ease, i think they are not in the same level as of now. But perhaps magma and flames are not comparable at all? Magma is a physical substance (melted rock) while flame going to do mostly internal damage?

Anyway, im looking out for Sanji ripping off his enemies limbs in the future like Akainu (he did with Queen tho)
