I don't agree, no.

I'm not a big fan of immediately pointing fingers at a particular user, particularly when it's not the first time that same user has been nominated for elimination early on (and I was also participating in that game too).
What does that have to do with this game tho?

Well, I can understand where you're coming from, but also it's the nature of the game to point fingers and then actually try to prove/ disprove the accusations.

Yes, Flower does often find herself getting heat in these games, but she's been playing this game for many many years.
It's very rarely ever personal in these games, and if it is, it gets adressed.

So, if you forget about the fact she's been accused before, what do you think based on what has been said in this game?

I would suggest the first player we nominate as King be one at the forefront of the pushes - Flower, Ekko, even myself. Then when the active players agree to a King, who the King is isn't terribly important Day 1 as long as it's someone who is pushing things with a degree of certainty. Then the King says "I want this player dead", we all target them tonight and mass tag to let everyone know that. For the lynch today, we either sleep or we cut off an inactive player, because the inactive players are only going to hurt us and subs don't seem to be in abundance here.

Then we get on with it basically. If Flower's plan reaps rewards we follow that, then come back to Kingmaker.
I'd pick Flower to be the King honestly, seems like the most logical choice - especially seeing as she's so against it

Question about this king of the hill plan

The odds of the king being right and that person they wanna target is scum is significantly lower than the chance that they are town

Wouldn't that just be giving scum free kills?

And on the off chance the target they pick is scum that doesn't automatically mean they themselves arent scum

So how can town negate these possibilities or will we just take the risk ?

No I don't really care about that one, beyond not getting people to agree. But you can advocate it if you want, don't let me stop you. I think Kingmaker is more fun and this is better and still gives the mech thing a shot too.
getting 2 out 7 to agree in each sector is not terribly hard imo. im a sucker for pushing hard on town momentum, if we have a good poe end of day 1 id love to hammer it all with kills. i was thinking as we approach day 1 yeet we make 2 lists like this:
1. if the yeeted player flips town, kill A, B, and C, and
2. if the yeeted player flips scum, kill X, Y, and Z

i find mine more fun too and accelerates the game more. i can see the angle behind yours from a controlled gameplay standpoint but i disagree with it because it's too punishing. you lose 2 townies for the price of 1. even if a townie correctly killed scum, if they make a mistake next day they get killed. you're guaranteeing a steady flow of dead townies for each dead scum, and twice as much if a townie king ordered a misfire.

lastly just cuz we devised a kingmaker doesnt mean entire player list will continuously comply to visiting the player who the kingmaker says to visit. it's wg, you'd get inactifags that forget to submit actions or submit whatever on their own without reading the thread. it doesnt fix my main issue with flower's watcher plan which i didnt like to begin with.

my plan only requires 2/7 for each sector to agree, this requires basically everyone to do so, and risks creating false positives.

But Dr. Dan, that's part of the game.

In fact pointing fingers at Dr. Cubey was a thing for 7 years.

it's also too slow to be effective. mafia needs 5 town controlled kills to win. thats about 3 mafia exchanging themselves 1 for 1 in addition to 1 town king misfiring (which results in the king dying too) + the standard 5 faction kills

by comparison in 7-7-7 each day we lynch 1 player and based on the flip we kill 2-3 players. it's really a no brainer

So why did you agree with Flower's plan earlier and say we should go with that instead? Also your maths is wrong but not getting into that right now.
