I think that is a given in time. When it's all new, you try really hard and then slowly put in less effort. I mean I use to take notes when I first started playing and then slacked off. So I'm worse than I was then even my very first game lol.
You aren't bold and your games get affected when you hold yourself back or play passively.
I have told you many times that biggest advantage townie has isn't the majority but being bold and straightforward because they are town so they have nothing to hide or feel any sort of fear of getting caught.

The difference with experience from what I see is that a beginner would try to latch on to anything weird. A pro has a much more well rounded idea of who is acting town and who is not, and can pinpoint scum that way.
It's kind of more natural? Unless the games are full of pros lol

That's due to the fact that the accumulated experience you got over continuously playing has started to make you not need notes anymore. Now, you got these things in your head and it's like the equivalent of muscle memory for your mind. The attentiveness isn't as strong as before cause it's not necessary anymore.
It's not that you got worse, just got more efficient.

Did I start hosting that soon after I started playing? I know I was in two private games that actually took place in PM before I played my first game on the forum but all 3 games were in October. You possibly are right though. That though in itself is depressing and might explain why I got so tired of mafia because I became coach shortly after I started hosting, then from then on out I more or less either hosted or coached all ToS games.
