Doubt it could be anything too crazy in whatβs (probably) an intermission chapter
Itβs the same mistake people made last week. Odaβs pacing is too slow for anything concrete to have happened yet
If I had to guess Zoro either blocks an attack from Imunko or he uses a CoC blast for whatever reason
If Odaβs including a Shanks flashback then Luffyβs group isnβt making it to Imu till the very end of this chapter or the next one

To think of it, I just realised Kubo had certain villains returning to the story after death via Hell itself. A certain familiar and very important face from Soul Society showed up as a "villain" from the literal gates of hell and pulled a certain returning dead Espada backed into hell in that bonus Hell Arc chapter.
We've been told beings of Captain level or extremely high reiatsu in Bleach get sent to Hell when they die, as they're too powerful for the stability of the world/universes/dimensions or whatever, they woud ruin the "balance" if they were reincarnated/reabsord into the world or w/e.
My point anyway is, we have certain familiar faces returning in Bleach from actual Hell itself, presumably "demonised" and thus corrupted by it and we even had a movie before set in Hell itself, were the villain had one of Ichigo's sisters hostage. (A bit of a dark film too)
And now we have actual demonic stuff in One Piece, as implied for a long time with stuff like Film Red, Impel Down being based on Dante's Inferno and seemingly having actual demons working there or at least "demonic looking staff" and that was the arc we first learned about awakened Zoans and Devil Fruit awakenings too. Imu's Domi Reverse forces people to become demons and turn evil and we had Queen doing something similar with the Ice Oni virus too.
Hell, (pun intended lol), we've had talks of the "sea devil" from the beginning chapter from Shanks himself, "devil fruits" the SHs constantly referred to as "demons" and "devils", Brook using the power of the underworld/freezing hell like in Buddism or Dantes Inferno, Robin becoming a demon herself vs Black Maria, Zoro becoming the "king of hell" and seeing the grim reaper, Chopper becoming a seemingly demonic monster (maybe a Wendigo?), Sanji talking about the devil and hell, including being in Hell on the okama island and naming his powerups as "Diable" and "Ifrit" too ofc, etc.
I know I'm going somewhere with all of this, even if I'm lost as Zoro and confusing as uh trying to powerscale One Piece or predict where Oda is gonna do/write next but still lololol.
One of the Holy Knights had a somewhat similar skull to Road here too^. Those Holy Knights aside from Garling have yet to reappear too.
Imu or Green Bull make more sense as the Forest God ofc, but man I would laugh and love it so much if Chopper was the Forest God all along somehow. Huge shame we never got a monster chopper with ice oni moment, it would have been like the pre TS monster chopper reveal moment all over again and so epic and fitting to the tone of the arc at the time, the whole onigashima war at the time, but sadly Oda denied us that and monster chopper is still now just a fucking joke in many ways, sigh.

I think given all he went through with Egghead and thus vs Luffy too, its gonna "awaken" him in more than 1 way now, hes gonna "see more clearly" and thus we might and should deservedly get an actual monkey attack from him and its gonna be significant for him on a personal level and definitely inspired by Luffy too. Monkey see, monkey do.

Plus if I recall, Wukong was enlightened and became the Victorious Fighting Buddha....maybe Kizaru will have a heart-to-heart with Sengoku and awaken his "Clear Justice".
