This chapter not only confirms Elders>Yonko's with the exception of Shanks, but it also confirms Holy Knights>Yonko Commanders as well.

The fact that you need a new level of CoC to bypass the regen, imo means that no Yonko Commander or Warlord can defeat a Holy Knight.

Even the ones that do have CoC only has basic CoC, so unless they learn it, they would lose in a fight as well.

What do you make of characters like Kuzan and Sakazuki having CoC, and something this busted on top of it? Do you think Oda cares to protect the balance among established top tiers at all? I think if Admirals end up having CoC then Logia awakening is in danger.

Another option is most of them did not go down the haki route, just like Kaidou and BM did not end up having DF awakening. Not to say Admirals don't have great haki, but just like Kaidou and BM do not have bad devil fruits, they simply didn't take them to the next lvl. I'm thinking Oda uses Logia awakening to re-establish devil fruits as a means to the top of the verse. Much better than the boring haki route with the df simple being an added aesthetic.

Maybe Akainu will be the exception where he has atleast conqueror's coating on top of logia awakening. Which would quite comfortably place him above Kaidou.

Yeah. Aokiji put his fruit aside to brawl with Garp, maybe with CoC, it will just turn DFs into fodder control. Which I would hope is not the case. Especially Akainu's lethality is unmatched; dude can blow off limbs and holes into people with a single punch, that is more effective than some blunt punches with CoC. And just like Kaido conducted CoC through blazing bagua, why couldn't CoC be combined with logia powers? That would truly be busted though.

So maybe it's Logia awakening + Lv. 2 CoC vs. DFless Lv. 3 CoC. And EOS Luffy will have both.
