Nahhhh I think he’s talking about basic CoC and the “strength” of it

It’s confirmed that it scales up with the user so you can’t “train it” in the typical sense

I think you can train to learn new applications but you can’t make it stronger by spamming it

It grows alongside you
here's a good question then
does gaban mean luffy's haki isnt strong enough
or moreso the application of it isnt up to par.

But Oda wouldn't let him struggle against fodder HKs like Sommers.
ofc he wouldnt

Not my avatar choice...
If Sanji fights Sommers during this arc, then I believe there is a high chance he will fight Mars and not Ju Peter.

I don't think Sanji will fight both members of the Shepherd Family.
I wouldn't be surprised if Zoro fights a centuar enemy this arc in Killingham, and then another centaur eos in Nusjuro

While Sanji could fight a Shepherd this arc and another one later

I'm fine with Sabo having it, but that's about it.
Kuma had great will power, but will power isn't always a 1:1 with conqueror's haki. If anything, conqueror's haki is associated with unreasonable stubbornness (will power yes, but a bit different energy within the spectrum).

Issue with gifting it to randoms is that the two weakest advanced conqueror's users at the moment are Yamato and current Zoro, two characters who are approaching top tier.
It's an insane benchmark. It makes zero sense for some revo jobbers to have this ability. For context, Ivankov, 3rd strongest revo, was low-mid diff'd by Magellan.

Not to mention, Ivankov wouldn't have been sperging out about Luffy having it and reminiscing of Dragon, if conqueror's haki was common in RA
In all fairness Magellan absolutely demolished BB along with his entire crew. Mind you, this is a BB that’s stronger than he was when he scarred Shanks

I think considering them jobbers is where the problem arises. Kuma was a Warlord and Ivankov is the LHM of the World’s Most Wanted Man (likely similar in portrayal to Roger/WB by the time we see more of him)

Roger’s LHM has CoC and its advanced applications. I don’t think it’s a stretch for Dragon’s LHM to be the same

Roger - Dragon

Kuma - Rayleigh/Ivankov - Gaban

Young Protege (Shanks) - Sabo

All with ACoC. That’s why I said anything below them would be a bit much even for me

90% chance it’s about technique rather than strength

It’s more than likely another “form” of conqueror’s that Luffy just doesn’t know yet

Which isn’t that crazy as he still doesn’t know observation killing or long range intimidation

Kaido really was camping in wano and holding haki lectures without having even the most advanced techniques :josad:

Why does Zoro need that new level of Haki though? I thought he was a swordsman, not a Hakiman. @nik87 @mly90

:beckmoji:
People are misinterpreting this as a >new level of haki.
It is not, aCoC can NOT be trained to be stronger. This is an established rule that people keep ignoring.
It is just a different application, particularly useful against those with regen but not useful as a general buff.

This manga going down a death spiral if it starts gifting not only conqueror's haki, but also advanced version to whoever that plot wants.

It's fun for dudes here to meme on Yonko fans/Luffy fans/Zoro fans/admiral fans etc (I'm seeing it used for agendas all around the place in the thread), but I hope readers in good faith can acknowledge how terrible this is for OP.
Terrible decision from the author to make advanced conqueror's haki is a requirement to defeat gorosei and holy knights.
5 Gorosei+ 10HK+ Imu=16. So we basically need around 16 acoc users, it's not really much tbh.:kriwhat:
