I'm still 50/50 on this tbh simply coz I'm still not sure what route Oda's ultimately going to be taking with Sanji.
PoL is still a mystery and given how ridiculous that ability is, I think it has the potential to also be a counter to immortality.
Imo if Sanji doesn't get CoC it'd be because Oda already has a specific unique route in mind to develop him strength wise.
CoC on top of whatever that is, could very well be a bit too OP.

That said on the gag, if it even is one.
I don't know but it feels a bit weird to me for Sanji to say something like this umprompted as he's not really a pompous character?
I'd get it if it was on some bickering ting with Zoro or something but just feels a bit off to me personally.
So either he somehow feels something within himself or Oda's forcing a gag here for whatever reason?
Contrast btw Sanji and Zoro here is also pretty interesting in the case that it's not necessarily a gag.
One can feel it manifesting within himself and the other doesn't even realize that he's manifested it.

Nothing is too op in the story

whitbeard had peak df with peak coc and roger equally fought him with peak coc

anyone who has stronger coc is the stronger overall

I agree on PoL but based on how high oda put Sanjis floor, he kinda needs a lot of power to reach it. If IJ is created via exoskeleton and CoA, I won’t be shocked if the next level is created with an exoskeleton boost via PoL and CoC.
