They never were portrayed as equal. Doflamingo was straight up confirmed as a superior version. Basically the new world version of paradise crocodile, with officers that have superior DFs (weapon fruit > blade fruit, ton fruit > kilo fruit).

And that's even though Croc has a Logia. In case of Aokiji and Akainu however, they have equal fruits and fought for 10 days.

What are you even talking about? Sanji stood on business the second he was told that Zeff and his ability to cook (literally his treasure he’s spent the entire manga to perfect and protect) weren’t being threatened. A conqueror will always protect their life’s treasure. Just look at Gaban

• Loki (Probably already has adCoC)

All are confirmed CoC users

Benn - Shanks RHM
King - Him and Marco are the only YC1 without CoC. Shiryu too. And he might have some role given the mural had lunarian fighting alongside Nika.
