Lmao yeah 100%. He acts more like Imu then anyone else in that regard. The irony of an author making his series all about ambition, seeking the truth, anti censorship, pro freedom, creativity and expression of self and the right to be yourself etc.
I could expose so many series he's blatantly copied so much from in the past, not even subtlely but I don't want to hate on him too much for that, no author or artist or w/e can truly be original especially these days and most stories follow the same structures/formulas and thus tropes too.
Oda has been and still is worshipped too much though and is all gone to his head, the whole Goda thing must have inflated his ego to make him think hes actually a deity and thus must act like one.
Yuderon feeling like he needs to step down even though it fits in with typical Japanese honour and humility traditions is just so ridiculous. Clearly Yuderon respects Oda so immensely and loves the series so much, he doesn't want to disappoint and "let down" Oda and "hurt" him and the story by "predicting" and "spoiling" his story potentially. If someone predicted the story I was writing, I wouldn't be mad, I would be happy that they understand what I'm trying to do and thus understand my story!
Oda wants to exceptional, the one and only, unique, untouchable, uncriticisable, flawless etc. The longest running manga AFAIK is Kochikame, WAIT NVM, its Golgo 13 with 53 YEARS AND STILL GOING APPARENTLY?! OH GODA HELP US ALL, I EXPECTED 40 WITH KOCHIKAME BUT NEVER MIND! RIP TO US, WE'RE ALL GONNA BE LIKE BROOK BY THE TIME THIS SHIT EVENTUALLY ENDS! (IF IT EVEN FUCKING DOES LMAO) The author of Golgo 13 passed away in 2021 at 84 though.
Fuck man, one of Odas editors was so traumatised by Oda, he had to sleep with his phone on his chest because Oda wouldn't stop texting him with demands!
He also literally fought with a previous editor during Dressrosa because of his own immensely inflated ego too (almost as much as OP womens busts Post TS - Post Tit Surgery):

Exactly man and that's an Ourborous/self fulfilling prophecy type issue. I love One Piece but my god, these toxic positive people cause far more problems than they realise or want to admit and acknowlege.

The fact I can't even laugh at how contrived that is because I know something worse could happen to One Piece
One Piece really could have been a masterpiece if it were like 700 chapters. Right now it's just a milked product. The milking has been super obvious since post skip started, just look at the chapter count per arc.
What we consider a relatively small arc these days in Egghead, is literally fucking longer than Skypiea, the longest arc preskip 😂. Like this is objectively a bad product. It's not even hard to prove.
