The grandeur and magnitude of it and their idea he did it with his individual strength alone attest to this
Kaido thinks Roger bought the world to heel with his haki
Chinjao thinks pirate king is stronger than all yonko and admirals
Mihawk thinks being pirate king means you beat all the other yonko at once
None of these are remotely true
Wb knows Roger the most and doesn't have him on this pedestal for strength

They were all hyping him for his power, not him finding the One Piece. And finding the One Piece is also tied to strength anyways, the idea is that you’re so untouchable that nobody stopped you from roaming freely around the seas. Which is true enough, Roger Pirates roamed around the world for years and discovered the requirements for reaching Laughtale.

Unfortunately this also means we won't get fool summary and raws until next Wednesday to Thursday and spoilers for the next chapter until 26th August, maybe 25th if we're extremely lucky?
Something stupid like that. Due to WSJ breaks it messes things up with the early spoilers and also it ignores the 3 chapter rule before another Oda break.
So I think we have an Oda break after the next 2 chapters. I've been finding it harder to follow, predict and understand these days snd thus to remember how it works. having 2 month long breaks didn't help either lol.
Claystage normally has a fairly accurate prediction of the chapter schedules for the entire year AFAIK though.

Chinjao got folded by garp (who we know know beat him by a flex by only using hardening) garp never sees Roger as superior

Exactly, you’re proving my point. So far, all of that gas is baseless if Roger never proved superiority to anyone. All he gets so far are ties and inconclusive fights. Shiki literally went on a rampage since he can’t fathom Roger losing. Sengoku confidently said that Roger will beat Shiki’s ass anyways. For people who clearly knows Roger’s strength, it was an agreed upon rule that he was untouchable. Where did all of that stem from? His cat and mouse games with all of them? Or did he beat somebody of note that grants him all of that credibility? (especially for the likes of Shiki and Kaido).

That’s a big statement, Shiki was a true rival to him who can 1v2 Garp and Sengoku. Even Shiki shared the same sentiment as Sengoku. He thought that there was no way in hell that the marines will catch Roger. You know, the same marines that have Garp (who is really shaping up to be Roger’s true equal btw). Shiki also said that the era is WB’s for the taking after Roger died. Roger having that much of an impact on Shiki means that the latter logically witnessed something that separates Roger from the rest. Shiki seeing Roger go all-out in God’s Valley is the first thing that comes to mind. Kaido is also a might is right kind of guy, and Roger was the first guy that he thought of.
