Theory Zunesha is Pluton

#1
Hello,

So, we can guess that Pluton was created by the ancient giant shipbuilders. If that is true, then I highly doubt that they created a normal/human sized ship. It must be huge. If that ship was fed a Zoan Elephant devil fruit, then the elephant would also be huge. Not because it’s a special fruit, but because the ship was gigantic already. We also know that when a Zoan transforms there are often relics of their original body still present. This explains what the Whale Tree is. It is not a tree, it is the figurehead of the Pluton ship. If we look back to the Zou arch, we remember that Zunesha constantly sprays itself with seawater. This could explain the vegetation on the Whale figurehead. It may have started out as just algae and built up from there. This will also bring Momo’s role into focus. If Zunesha was commanded to walk the sea by Momo’s ancestor, then his command may have been to never transform back from his Elephant form. This explains what Zunesha’s role is in opening the borders of Wano. Momo will command Zunesha to turn back into Pluton and use its weapon to blow away the walls around Wano.

Maybe.

That is true, but Zunesha is so big that it can not be submerged in the water. Also, I think it was once stated that a Devil Fruit user would start to be weakened once the water reached past their knees. If you look at Zunesha's design, he/it actually has two different "knee" joints on each leg and only one is ever under the water. That could explain why it is not weakened while walking the ocean. We should also consider that the Devil Fruit was not part of the original design, but may have been something that happened either by accident or in response to some challenge that they faced.

Zunisha being Pluton already crossed my mind long ago but I discarded the idea when it was revealed that it is burried beneath Wano.
However, the idea that Pluton was fed a Zoan Elephant DF has never crossed my mind. This is an interesting approach.
On the other hand, if each Emperor is supposed to obtain one Ancient Weapon each, then idk if this will be a likely scenario.

Supposedly Pluton is underneath Wano, but yeah I guess Zunesha was coming home but Momo told him to wait.

Underneath Pluton we might just find lore or a power up for Pluton/Zunesha.

- Minks are linked to Kozuki who are linked to Pluton. Guys, go keep an eye on Zunesha for 800 years lol.

- We were reminded of objects "eating" devil fruits in Wano.

- We also saw Queen, a devil fruit user part machine.

- We're gonna get this but 35 km high. Lasers from his trunk, missiles from his mouth, detachable ears and tail, lol. And imagine if queen had an army of micro animal warriors on his back (who go Gear 4.5 under a full moon...).

- He will get a hybrid form like this :

(Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant)

- And maybe a crazy awakening. Is it just the elephant fruit, or the god of whatever fruit ?

- Only problem is how is he talking, but he's not actually. VOAT users can, maybe they're communicating with the fruit. In 800 years or more, maybe the fruit and the user have "fused".

We learned in the Wano arc that Pluton is underneath Wano, so it can't be Zunesha

Well, Sukiyaki actually says (in the TCB scan atleast), "If you continued to trek a little deeper... it is said that you would find the sleeping ancient weapon Pluton. I have never seen it myself and am unable to show it to you." So he is relaying not first-hand information, but more likely tenth-hand information. Based on that, it would be dubious to take it as a hard fact. This is not the same situation as Poseidon; where we have the literal weapon swimming around commanding Sea Kings. We must also consider that the information was originally intended to be allegorical in its meaning. If the person, who would be able to command the ship to transform, was to be born in Wano, you could say that it is sleeping in Wano. Not the weapon itself, but the power to harness it.

- The information wasn't from Sukiyaki to begin with, it was written on the poneglyph in Arabasta.
- Sukiyaki knew about it from the Kuzuki clan, while Robin learned it from the poneglyph in Arabasta, both had the same information from different sources.
- The Gorosei knew that opening Wano's borders was postponed once Zunesha left, which confirms that Zunesha's role is to help opening the borders, they didn't care about Zunesha itself, if it were an ancient weapons, they would've gone there immediately along with Imu to put Zunesha under their control.

There are many other clues, since the SHs also didn't care that much about Zunesha, I mean if it were an ancient weapon, Robin would have already mentioned it.

If they know that Zunesha's role is to open the borders of Wano, do they then know that an ancient weapon is in Wano? If they do, they have not gone immediately along with Imu to gain control of it.

They know it’s in Wano. They were actually planning to invade Wano if the borders were opened, but Momo decided to keep them closed because Wano wasn’t ready to remove the borders protecting it.
They know that, since the borders are closed, no one will be able to get the weapon, so there’s no need to attack Wano in that case, especially with Kaido sitting there. But during the battle against Kaido, there was a possibility of the borders getting open, so they immediately sent WG ships to Wano.
Post automatically merged:

Also you can't ignore the fact that the poneglyph in Arabasta mentioned Pluton's location under Wano
