It makes sense lot of sense to me and it's definitely relative to real life, to all living things not even just us. The power of love and the killer of dreams, ambitions, hope, joy etc with unrequited love and heartbreak.
Not a coincidence all the most bitter, vengeful, cynic people I know have issues with romance and thus are "romantically impaired". Or are in terrible relationships or marriages otherwise.

Sanji is themed around love and Oda has implied Sanji harbours world changing level powers and his flames are fuelled by emotions and thus love, regret, pain too etc.
This upscales Boas fruit immensely too and no wonder Blackbeard wanted it too. Oda recently revealed Boas DF doesn't need to rely on beauty related attraction/lust or whatever to petrify, it can operate on other types of feelings like fear I believe? I can see admiration beyond aesthetics beauty working or fear too for sure.
He also said via Boa herself that petrified victims cannot be undone by other users of the fruit and if the one who petrified the victims dies, then those victims will be petrified permanently and die too ultimately.
This whole good bad future thing makes a lot of sense given the characters you mentioned and you can use Kokoro and Dadan as easy other examples too. Shinobu too ofc.
I do believe Oda is trying to foreshadow something big with them, well Frankys at least anyway and we're gonna get Frankys equivalent of Monster Chopper moment in Enies Lobby and he'll either become Pluton or some kind of Kuma to Emeth style complete robot (temporarily, he will be saved from it somehow and restored, maybe by Nika and or Vegapunk) as a desperate last resort at some point. hence the bad future thing of him as a battleship, which relates to his tragic backstory heavily too ofc and Oda giving us a canon reference to it in Egghead with his bounty poster showing The Sunny as him instead. Franky and sunny combined will guarantee his dream of making sunny sail the world guaranteed and they'll save each other's abd the SHs lives and it will be like merrys moment in enies too imo but this time their ship won't "die" and be destroyed and sunken. (RIP the GOAT ship, although it's a sheep ship, all sheepshape).

Forme it would be so perfect including thematically and thus in terms of foil characters/parallels if he was the to take Zephyrs arm too.)
There are a bit of similarities with Mihawk and Boa to each other, I think they could have the most mutual understanding between each other potentially, but if they're actually related, that's even better.

You really seem to care about wildlife. I get it, no day passes when I don't read or hear about yet another Forest Fire somewhere in the world. Poor animals man. I saw that one in Australia where the confused animals didn't know better and ran back into the fires, koalas and such.
And then later it comes out it wasn't a natural cause. Some idiot humans threw their still-lit zigs into the woods or left their glass bottles and garbage when they were hiking there.
I think there was even a statistic that said over 80% of all fires are caused by humans. Unbelievable.
Imu likes dominating those who resist Imu; I think this is a big reason Imu wants Vivi, because Lily/Alabasta spurned Imu in the past. Like Vivi, Shakky was more or less a Princess of her Kingdom, a Kingdom the WG hates.

"God" Valley is where the last Joy Boy was buried; hence the name "God Valley" = "God Nika's resting place", with "valley" symbolizing death (also for the Rocks Pirates and Celestial Dragons who died there). This is why the CD's targeted God Valley: Cipher Pol found Nika's Fruit there, and the name disgusted them inherently. Like, an actual Gorosei showed up for this: does that always happen during human hunts? This is why Kuma is the focus of God Valley in Egghead: because it's the arc Vegapunk talks about Joy Boy/Nika. Kuma is the force on God Valley that represented Nika's Will.
Elbaph had the Yami Yami no Mi: but, the person who stole it died, because the Yami Yami no Mi kills its user/holder if they don't use it for what it wants (Yami is a Kraken Mythical Zoan, IMO). After being stolen from Elbaph, the Yami Yami no Mi killed all its wielders... until it finally met the one it wanted, Teach. How did Harald die? Getting betrayed by the WG/most likely some of his own people. Getting killed by his own son, Loki.
What is the Yami themed over? Betrayal/Evil. Harald dying in the way he did IMPLIES the Fruit that was stolen is the Yami Yami no Mi. Whereas Shanks stole the Nika Fruit without killing Who's Who, whoever stole the Yami from Elbaph used Harald's murder to do so. Yeah, that's Teach's Fruit.
We know from Elbaph's lore that all Giants want to be the Sun God, and some of them view the Sun God as a God of Destruction. So... that means a lot of Giants, would be willing to do bad things, to get the Fruits that are supposed to make you the Sun God, correct?
If the Legendary Devil Fruit from Elbaph during Harald's demise is connected to the Sun God in Elbaph mythology, it makes a lot of sense someone from Elbaph tried to steal it (lol would be funny if it's Shiki, though). We know from Rocks that Harald hadn't eaten it, yet, at least at this point.
So, in this scenario, Rocks wanted Harald to eat the Yami Yami no Mi. Loki wanted to be Rocks. Rocks wanted Harald to join him. Rock's son, Teach, gets the Fruit Rocks wanted Harald to eat.
Finally, if Shakky WAS the treasure the WG stole... and Rocks and Roger had beef...
