In Terms of Combat Zoro interacts with more relevant Figures tho.
Like early egghead Luffy and zoro ran into Kaku and Lucci , then luffy and zoro fought with Kaku and Lucci against the Seraphim with one of the vegapunks there. See what I mean? As an animator of course you're gonna put sauce on that because nothing else is even close to that in terms of relevance early egghead other than the outside stuff.
Zoro Vs King had one of the best stand alone fight episodes. Where as Luffy Vs Kaido the sakuga is spread out in many episodes.
King is Kaido Strongest Crew member fighting Zoro who's Luffys strongest crew member. That fight was always going to get Sauce. You can argue it was the 2nd MOST important fight in wano based on the future seraphim relevance .
