That's actually an interesting take because it'd mean that his dialogue about betrayal was about himself all along, and that he was speaking out of guilt.

It'd actually work with his character IMO, like he hates himself for selling out and has focused on dying to someone worthy because he saw Rocks give it his all despite being betrayed.
