Just highlighting the fact that his gravity aoe can’t hold nor damage logia-esque properties. Kuri will just slip away all the time with his speed and mastery of mochi.

Either he barely met the minimum requirement for Admiral, and made his way up via politics

Or he just looks like a clumsy fool but when he has to get serious it's a different story. I'm sure he's strong but we could be looking at an exchange been a Conqueror and a normal dude who barely was scraping by and had to slowly work his way up the ranks, had passable results in training and whatever exams they take but didn't stand out much, seen some warfare but mostly played it safe in ambassador roles behind a desk.

Respectable for sure, just not built entirely different. Not enough for Garp to not talk in that tone, that's for sure, then again Garp probably ended up disrespecting everybody anyway

I always said Kong was a fraud.
