DMS Kakashi dodged Kaguya's attack, blitzed and cut her arm in the process while Kaguya was said to be at her peak and much more powerful than at the beginning. Combined with a perfect Susanoo that can throw Kamui Shuriken, Kakashi was way too broken.

Oda isn't going to taint Shanks' image like that, and it doesn't really fit from what we've seen from them. Garling is a super-racist, I don't think he'd even though a woman who was a slave. Don't have enough from Shamrock, yet, but, like I said, just don't see Oda having a dude who looks just like Shanks doing that.
