Actually obito didnt turn evil cause he was simping even without rin he would still turn evil cause the war made him lost fair in the system so many ploting in the shadows and he didn't want to accept that reality once he wanted to end the world.

If kakashi was the one who die instead of rin obito would still go full evil.

You just saw Prime WB toppling down Prime Big Mom, Shiki, etc, all at once. Still think Zoro and the Cook will surpass Prime Whitebeard?
Bro no offense but if you read the manga you would no that Sengoku directly states prime BM >> GV BM.

Zoro being secondary MC definitely has potential to surpass WB. Roger , Rocks are all swordsman and are on par with WB. Zoro will be strongest swordsman of all time.

Isn't GV BM = Prime BM?

Dude, I'm aware many Shounen have secondary MCs, but come on, One Piece isn't one of those Shounens.

I’m really interested to see what Oda plans on doing with the Marines

It feels like he’s hitting the readers over the head with a bat that says “don’t be an idiot, most Marines genuinely want to help people”

This gap he’s creating between the Marines and the World Government also feels very intentional going into the final war. Is he implying that there could be a coup against the WG?

It always felt like Oda was laying the groundwork for one with Kuzan defecting, Kizaru disobeying orders while regretfully killing his best friend, and Akainu questioning Kuma’s lack of will while also clearly directing the question at himself

The Final War is shaping up to be even crazier than any of us realize imo. It really might be the battle royale Oda was talking about

Another one who didn't read the manga but just followed the waves I guess.

Here is literaly obito himself telling kakashi that rin isn't the only reason he is doing what he did lol.

It's important to understand that Obito wad still 12 or 14 when rin die, Rin was the closest thing to him for family. And this right after obito himself suffered severe wound with his idea was shaken and madara already planted seed of doubt in his heart about the world and Tsukuyomi.

Rin was kind to obito, a teammate, never mocked his idea and obito truly cared for her, its not simply some crush) someone like that prematurely meeting her end because some grow ups who represent each great villages couldn't keep their bloodlusts in check and started a world war forcing children to participate despide being not prepared for it.

If rin lived she would end with kakashi while obito would have moved on.

Obitos hate is directed at that system and he want to abolish it.

And since kiri was the ultimate actor in rins dead beside konoha (who send rin and kakashi again to their dead after they survived the iwa front) rest is history.

Obito Lay waste in kiri turning their kage into a puppet and started a bloody Civil War enjoying his revenge.

As for konoha there is the Uchiha massacre and nine tails attack.

It seems like Oda is going for the whole damsel in distress trope. We have two chapters of simp-piece in a row

I also think Oda went too far with this, but unfortunately it's possible

But I hope its red herring, because an important event like GV that led to the death of a mysterious character that had been lurking in there in the shadows for a while, the father of a potential final villain of the series being linked to simping over Shakky would be terrible writing

I bet Oda has secret nude drawings of Shakky.
He draws all his female characters nude first, then adds the (barely present) clothes

Axe hand Morgan was east blue Akainu

A woman being "the treasure" ? Its not that I think its unlikely, its that I think its so silly as a plot point.I don't wanna sound like that friend thats too woke but the way Oda writes women is genuinely pathetic.I find it incredibly hard to care about any of the Kuja whose only purpose in the story has been to simp and be simped over by other men.Is there nothing else of value that these characters can add to the story?
The Kuja have become an absolute meme crew. What happened to ''in this land, strength is beauty'' the introduction panel to Amazon Lily?

Now it turned out the Kuja pirates aren't even renowned for their fighting prowess but their appearance alone? Come on Loda.:lawsigh:

Not that Amazon Lily pre ts wasn't already way too sexualized. Oda always has it in him to double down on his strange 19th century sexism.
