My thoughts on the first two episodes for now.
The trillionaire is an archetype like all characters are. But I like how he seems to be plotting shady stuff. He is good for me, looking forward to learn more about him.
And btw I like the little sister. She brings some joy in an universe that is very bleak. This might be a studio choice to bring more people to watch the series but it works very well even though it’s kinda weird to watch kids fighting xenomorphs and such.
The look of the character who leads the kids into the vessel feels so good. Very Blade Runner. Making you wonder if they won’t try a crossover. Seriously they might try it !
The rock n roll songs at the end of the episodes is a nice touch too.
I also like how we quickly go at the beginning from the space mission to the crash because we don’t need to spend more time on this. Everyone knows about the Alien universe a tiny bit, even if they haven’t seen the original Alien movie, they know it’s about « super dangerous space monsters ».
Robots and synthetics and such are also great as I already mentioned. There is also the black guy synthetic from the vessel who is interesting too.
I’d say the crash happened on purpose to kill the human crew but the location of the crash is either a mistake or makes it a real crash. Because it’s on the other trillionaire’s turf
Also the fact that there is someone on multiple shots cleaning or fixing a wall in the trillionaire facility that seems to have been burned by acid is a nice giveaway that they have already encountered alien life

Alien Earth
So far... It's pretty great. It's not a horror like Romulus, it's more of an action show, which is great. Alien can be used for both action and horror, and I am absolutely loving the extremely graphic content. It's absolutely beautiful to watch. It's also good to see Olyphant in this show, his character looks fantastic, one of my favorites actors.
