In the latest chapter (#1157), we saw a panel with all the Gorosei, but the only one seen talking was Mars.

However, when I took a closer look, I didn't felt that all silhouettes matched all the Gorosei we know.

We know for sure that Saturn was there, since he was present during the Emeth's incident in Mary Geoise 200 years ago.

The oldest flashback we have with the original Gorosei's lineup is in the Germa 66's (Neo MADS) cover story, but it happened less than 39 years ago.

Do you think that a Gorosei might've died in God Valley and was later replaced by Ju Peter (or maybe Imu "replaced" a Gorosei during or after God Valley)? He always seemed fairly younger than the other Gorosei.

Dude the gorosei whose sillouete looks different looks like an old chinese man who posts online while he is walking on a mountain saying he is flying 5 students with him to China to teach them Spinjutsu from Lego Ninjago

I wouldn't take that silhouette seriously as actual proof that the person there is someone else.

You're overthinking it. Its just Ju Peter.

A small rough silhouette isn't any reason to think its someone else.

This is on the same level of those "Mihawk has neck scars / Shakky has belly scars" theories when its just simple art shading...

:ohreally:
There is also this, Oda's art wasn't the best in the latest chapter.

I made a thread about this possibility
I think Ju Peter replaced a former Elder after God Valley

Good point, I didn't saw that thread.

The thing is, even if rougher than usual, Oda drew the other Gorosei in their standard forms (Saturn sitting in profile at the rightmost side, Mars always standing, usually right next to Saturn, Warcury sitting in the centre with his legs open, Nusjuro either standing or sitting right beside Warcury, always with his sword). Only "Ju Peter" is a complete anomaly (he normally sits in that place with his legs crossed, or stands at the leftmost side, right beside Nusjuro).

There's another instance where Ju Peter's leg crossing doesn't occur. That panel, from Chapter 433, is also small and silhouetted.

Good point, but it's still possible to identify all the Gorosei there. Even the order follows the standard (Ju Peter < Nusjuro < Warcury > Mars > Saturn).

Entirely possible.

Ju Peter has always felt coded more recent than his counterpart.

Also, the manner Saturn was disposed and Garling was elevated was shocking, but it didn't feel like it was intended to convey something unprecedented. I find it hard to believe Saturn was the first to face those consequences from someone as extreme as Imu.

I found another one from Chapter 1109 that's very similar to the one in Chapter 1157. Ju Peter is hunched over without his legs crossed, and the order of the Gorosei is the same. It's only missing Saturn since he was at Egghead.
