As much as I typically defend Mihawk (you know I have him equal to Roger which is insane since I think even Kaido might decisively lost to Roger extreme diff) I gotta disagree here. It's specifically worded as "But plenty already speak of them [(them = the days where Whitebeard and Roger were in their primes and reigned over the seas of the Grand Line)] as legends. Even the duel between you and Hawk-Eyes is still news to me."
It was never worded the way you think it is. Unless I saw an incorrect translation, I dunno.

Pretty sure you said he's Admiral level which can go hand in hand with Yonko level often times (i.e Kizaru is very close to Luffy in a fight), but whatever.
Also Harald is above Primebeard and Kaido. He matched Xebec who both Sengoku and Oda himself said is Roger's strongest adversary.
